Good morning gang.

Welcome to September. I know I'm a day late but I took yesterday off. Hope everyone had a good weekend. I didn't get the job in Tucson so looks like I'm going to look else ware.

Today calls for rain showers this morning and should clear up later today with temps in the upper 70's.

Word of the Day Tuesday, September 02, 2014

tintinnabular \ tin-ti-NAB-yuh-ler \, adjective;

1. of or pertaining to bells or bell ringing.

Origin:

Tintinnabular comes from the Latin tintinnābulum meaning "bell."

Selamat songom! The alarm clock was not a welcome sound this morning. But the sun is shining (or at least it is now - it was dark as all getout when I pulled out of the driveway), so I drove the Vette today.

Pretty amazing:

Had a full day yesterday with more of the same today. I learned you need a special player for AVI files. Only took a few hours to figure that out. Looks like a pretty morning in South Florida. In another 7 weeks I imagine the weather here should start being tolerable again. Until then I'll be sweatin to the oldies (or classics).

Top of the morning to ya....very cool bright sunshine day here in corn country....can't believe the weekend is over and summer is almost over.....HEY, summer isn't over until we say its over damit.....I will go look at my Endless Summer movie poster now....

Had a good time meeting up with Tom and Rosie yesterday. What a great C6 they found. The interior is perfect to the AO paint and the car looks like its brand new. I got to drive it and love the way it sounds.....the Borla's give it a lower muscle car rumble that is music as you wind it up through the gears. My Corsas sounded kinda weak after I got back in mine......of course we did have to yell at each other to talk.....J/K.....the Borlas aren't that loud.

Great find TB...well done!

Gotta work today...bummer....so better get after it...have an exciting day back Guru's...

Mama is back in the hospital with pneumonia. She waited when she should have gone in. They have her on an IV and meds. As she gets older these episodes get tougher on her. Sis says she's not doing too good. I'm off to join them tomorrow. She has pulled through time and time again so we'll see how she does this time. At 88 her condition can change quickly. She has a no resuscitation order in place and is at peace with whatever happens. She harbors no fear.

Thanks for the well wishes. She's a tough cookie. I talked with her this afternoon. Let's see how it goes. Sue's B-day comes up in a few days.
