You need to head to Barnes and Nobles...

There is a magazine with a cover article right down your alley. IIRC, the title is called "Classic Cars" and it's a British car mag - the cover story is Cars from 1984!

The cars they test are:

Ferrari 288 GTO
Toyota MR2
Peugeot 205
Buick Grand National

And I am forgetting one.

I was just a tiny bit too young to appreciate how bad it was. By the time I became coherent to the reality of cars, the Citation was a "dead car driving".

The design wasn't. Chrysler actually bought the engine from VW.

AMC did the same thing... Theirs came from Porsche... good motor, not very powerful, but also expensive as hell to rebuild!

Dated a nurse way back in the day and she had bought a brand new Omni....none of the windows would roll down or it was the back doors would not open.....I thought it was junk......I still do...
