Don't use any cleaners on the composite spring.

I don't think the simple green class of cleaners will harm the springs... what will are greases, petrochemicals and the like... anything that will attack the epoxy resin.

No... these types of water based cleaners are ok. Is this a water based cleaner, or "aqueous"?

Simple Green, Purple Power... those are water based.

Water based is OK! It's petrochemical based that are bad.

Castrol is the same type as PP or SG. I've tries all 3 and feel Simple Green is the best, I buy it by the gallon at HomeD. But use what you want.

If you're going to use it on the aluminum A-arms, etc. , it won't work like the spray, foam chemical degreasers.

It's easier to remove some of the dirt with a nylon or brass brush ($1.99 at Harbor Freight) first then use the spray.
