Good Morning CGs!

I can't believe where the year went. My wife and I were talking yesterday and the topic came up that it's already Daylight Savings Time coming up in about a week and a half. Holy cow. October is almost over. I will be driving the Vette as much as I can now until the snow comes. Now that it's running right

Still on the hunt for a toolbox. Seems like every time I find something it falls through. Called a guy the other day who has one but he must not want to sell it because he won't send pictures or tell me anything about it. So why post it for sale and then waste everyone's time??? Aggravating. Oh well, it will come.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Selenapa ibasege!

Supposed to be sunny and 72 today - I'll take it. I have to take a few laps around the back yard with the lawn sweeper when I get home to pick up some more leaves. Fortunately my neighbor always wants them for his garden, so it's nice not to have to bag them, etc. Last work day for a week, looking forward to some time off.

Have a great Friday, Gurus!

Good pics of the game Tom....those weren't bad seats....great you could go...

Will finish the floor today I hope. Yesterday we worked on the areas around and under the work benches and that took some time moving them all around and cleaning up around them. We also put some rubber cushions under the tiles around the work area to make it nicer to stand on. There are nine cushions per tile that have to be put in the tiles and that took time and my fingers are sore today...nice to walk on though...

Weather continues to be beautiful out here in the Heartlands as the work will get going again after the soil dries up a bit....

Have a safe day Guru's...

Time flies by. Why, it seems like only yesterday I was a young man doing young man things. Now I'm an older man doing older man things. Cruise leaves port in just over 3 weeks. Once it leaves port I usually leave all my cares at the dock since there is little or nothing I can do about them onboard. It will be here before I know it. All Hallows Eve is coming on fast. Luckily for Matt he doesn't need a costume. He's ready for Halloween all year long. Rainy, overcast day here today but the weather weenies promise a nice weekend. I'm showered up, dressed and rubbed down with muscle rub ready to take on whatever the day brings. Of course I had plans for yard work today so the rain is not really a welcome sight. I'm sure there are task substitutions available. Have a good'n, gurus.

NATIONAL BOLOGNA DAY

Each year on October 24, people across the nation celebrate National Bologna Day. Today would be a good day to have a bologna sandwich for lunch.
-
Sometimes spelled baloney (as it is pronounced), bologna has been one of the more popular luncheon meats for decades.
Favorite bologna sandwich garnishes are mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomato and onion,
Bologna sausage derived from and is somewhat similar to the Italian mortadella (a finely hashed/ground port sausage) that originated in Bologna, Italy.
United States government regulations require American bologna to be finely ground and without visible pieces of lard.
Bologna can alternatively be made out of chicken, turkey, beef, pork, venison or soy protein.
Bologna Bowl – When a slice of bologna is heated, the fat renders and the round slice takes the shape of a bowl which may be filled with cheese or other fillings.
There is a variety of different bologna’s:

German bologna
Kosher or halal bologna
Lebanon bologna
Lauantaimakkara
Rag bologna
South African polony
Vegetarian

To celebrate today, try something new and enjoy these “tried and true” bologna recipes:

HAPPY BOLOGNA DAY !

NATIONAL BOLOGNA DAY HISTORY

Within our research, we were unable to find the creator of National Bologna Day, an “unofficial” national holiday.

In other drinking news.....7 people 5 men and 2 women have been arrested in Lincoln on felony charges in the death of our clients son Clay Real a month or so back. The Farm House Fraternity has been disbanded and kicked out by the University of Nebraska.

They are being charged in procuring alcohol for minors and putting on the party that led to the death of Clay Real. It has now been released that Clay died of acute alcohol poisoning not from diabetes as was first expected. His blood alcohol level was 3.378 which is unbelievable since legal drunk here is .08%......

I did a lot of drinking in my day....got a DUI but never did I get drunk enough to pass out. I usually puked first then quit drinking. I don't know what you would have to drink to get that much alcohol in your system.....I'm thinking purple passion or something with straight grain alcohol in it......

Its a damn shame but it happens all the time. Big trouble for the 7 kids who bought the booze and had the party....

Witness statements will be most important in Clay's death. Was he forced to drink in a frat ritual? One must take responsibility for their own behavior, rule number one. Nobody can force you to do what you don't want to do (except for your wife or girlfriend). Underage drinking? You mean people actually do that? Kidding of course. I drank more by the time I was 18 than many people drink in a lifetime. Who should I blame for that? Still, it's a sad thing when a person loses their life over foolishness.

.....seems I got my decimal place wrong on the amount of alcohol in my clients kids bloodsteam....it was .387 not 3.87.... .4 is usually when you die from to much alcohol. A 200 lb. man would have to drink 25 shots in a short amount of time to get to that level.....This kid weighed about 140....
