Last Sunday of October. Crazy. I don't know where the year went.

From yesterday's chat, it sounds like all the Gurus are out there working hard (at least harder than I am). All of us except Brad, of course. I think I am jealous of wherever he is.

Anyone have big plans for the day?

The pond finishers showed up at 07:00 and are putting on coats of Diamond Brite as I write. 5 guys sloshing away. My plan is to watch and photograph with Sue's camera as per her orders. She wants a time lapse from start to finish every 10 minutes or so. PIA. Hard for me to do much with interruptions like that. Well, in the meantime ....

Morning guys....My Royals couldn't hold on last night. WE need to bounce back today. I've got some work to do before we go to the "city" for weekly grocery shopping. So I better get to it.

SUN IS SHINING ON THE NATIONS, WARMER THEN NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR.

BBQ WAS OK YESTERDAY; THE BLUEGRASS MUSIC WAS BETTER. FRIED PIE WAS BETTER YET AND AMISH CASHEW BRITTLE BEST OF ALL.

I'm sitting here listning to that crazy ass cardinal slam repeatedly into the dinning room window...been doing it for months now...I put stuff on most of the window to keep it from doing it but she finds a way.....her boyfriend was out there the other day and I don't believe I have ever seen a scruffier male cardinal.....this pair is the Wal-Mart people of the cardinal world....

I thought that was out Brad's back door.....

Man the Royals got their hats handed to them last night...gonna be a hell of a series....they need a win tonight...

Tommy the cement pond looks great....are you going to go skinny dipping in it when its done....I would.....late at night of course....

Perfect fall day here maybe a fall tour in the GS is in order....

nice and cool out today, Waiting for sun to come up. Will work on vet. Head to friends house when she wakes up and remove her window air conditioners. Then off to the home and garden show.

Hidey-ho! Nice, sunny morning here. I slept like a proverbial log after that debacle of a baseball game last night. Today there will be tons of food for the football games - I need to check my Tums supply.

Yikes....now that would be a nice cruise ship....you could have a golf course on it...it would be a floating city...that is one big tool to do the job.....

Very nice looking pond there...
Very warm and summery here today, 84 and sunny. Visited the cousin in the nursing home, had church with her, got the groceries picked up, not much else, took the Vette for a drive to a small lake that's nearby and sat out there for a while. Have a load of laundry going while dinner is in the oven... Yard weeds aren't sure what to do... I have 5 roses blooming on one bush, another on the other bush, got two more ripe tomatoes, had hummingbirds still the other day and they were out of food. I fed them and they left. Figures. Drug the bird of paradise plant (well the label says it's a 'white bird' plant) looks the same to me... to the front porch from the back deck. It's grown, the leaves now touch the ceiling on the porch. I dread getting that thing in the house.

Well, did a little formica work this morning. Did the grocery shopping, came home and talked to a friend about a building they want to put up. They want me to draw up the floor plans. Then I went out to install some new doors and drawers for a cabinet remodel. Busy day.....

Now I'm watching the ball game, down 1-0 right now. We need to get some offence going. Shields is doing a better job tonight. Last night was a train wreck........

Our defense is letting us down some. Esobar with two uncharacteristic miscues. And Dyson just missed one.

Well, the Bumgarner train was too much for us again tonight. Back to KC for the next game. The good thing is we don't have to face that guy again this year, and we are at home with a friendly crowd. I hope that's enough to bring home a couple wins.
