Good Morning CGs!

Worked late last night again so when I got up this morning it was a real chore. Oh well. I will make it through.

I am surprised and pleased that we have not had any snow yet this year. Still cold and overcast, but nothing to shovel. Radio yesterday said we have had a total of 24 minutes of sunshine since 12/11. I believe it. The skies have been gray and cloudy for what seems like forever. A little sunshine never hurt.

Gris - read about the family losses from yesterday's chat, sorry to hear about that.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning.

It's been a costly week with the pets. Mimi (Yorkie) got spayed then later started vomiting all over the place. Took a trip to the Vet ER to get her straightened out. She's fine now. ($400 total) Precious (Chow mix) was recently in a spat with the alpha over her food. She got a tear the corner of her eye. Needed a couple of stiches to close it. Then came infection followed by glaucoma. Now she's lost sight in that eye. (Add $900) It comes with the turf. You shouldn't have pets if your not willing to take care of them.

Tip of the day

Never give a pet as a gift unless the receiver wants a pet as a gift.

All these animal abuse posts I see on facebook make me want to murder a few people. Animal abuse is wrong. So there ..........

Morning guys....computer troubleshooting already this morning. I have a ew things to do, but not sure what Rosie has planned. It's pretty cool here this morning, but it's supposed to be a nice, above normal temp, weekend. Got to get to it.

Gifts? Gifts? Crap. Looks like I'll be shopping at the drug stores again. Maybe find a nice "As Seen On TV" gift or two.

I was down to my last pair of glasses that I've been using over the last few months. I have CRFS. (Can't Read For Shit)Thought of going to the optometrist. Then I thought about it. All I need is reading glasses. So I went to Amazon and found some 150's at really great price. Bought 6 pairs. I should be set for awhile and now I'm off the bubble.

I slept in way late - been waking up at about 6;30 ish... made it to 9:30 today - freaked me out. Have stuff to do, now I'm fed, bathed and had coffee and still can't get myself going. Need to pick up some presents for the cousin in the nursing home- not a clue what to get her.
Grey and dreary here too, makes me want to just nap on the couch all day
