Good Morning CGs!

So even if it is the last day of February....this cold weather shows no signs of letting up any time soon. I thought March would be the thaw...I guess not. I was hoping to bring the car home from my mom's house so I could start doing some work on it, but that will have to wait a little while longer.

Starting March 1 I will have to get up a bit earlier. I am starting an earlier schedule at work which will be tough at first but I'll get out an hour earlier as well so in the end that's better for me. Just getting up at 445 every morning will suck worse that 545. Oh well. I'll adjust.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

morning guys....I slept in some as I really don't have a lot to do...well that's not entirely true. I have some work to do, but don't have the dimensions I need to start the building process.

A little more snow overnight, cold and breezy. Not conducive to to outdoor activities (unless you are a polar bear).

Howdy! Balmy here - it's above 0 already and it might make it into the 20's. Wheeeee! This afternoon we're going to a memorial for my old boss - I expect a pretty big crowd, and imagine I will catch up with lots of folks I've worked with over the last 30-some years.

Have a good day, Gurus!

STILL SNOWING AND COLD IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, NOT MUCH BY EAST COAST STANDARDS, BUT ENOUGH TO PISS OFF THE CHEROKEES AND US WHITE-EYES TOO. THREE INCHES ON THE GROUND, TWO MORE PREDICTED.

TULSA DIDN'T GET AS MUCH AS WE DID YESTERDAY, SAM WENT IN AND SET UP AT THE SHOW, BUT IT SNOWED MORE OVER NIGHT UP THERE AND HE'S IN NO HURRY TO DRIVE ACROSS TOWN THIS MORNING.

THE LOCAL IDIOTS ARE BUSY WRECKING THEIR CARS AND RUNNING INTO ONE ANOTHER. THIS IDIOT IS STAYING HOME WHERE IT'S WARM :-)

I was up early to make a donation delivery to a local elementary school. Went to the local Rotary auction last night and bought a matching bronze mermaid to the one we bought at the Youth Fishing charity auction two weeks ago. Got this one for $300 cheaper. Paid to much for one and got a great price on the second, balancing the scale. Working the yard spreading mulch. Sort of an early spring cleaning start. Already had an early morning tussle with Sue by phone. She apparently felt I should have done something differently at the auction last night. One day there is a chance I might do something right but in 31 years it hasn't happened yet. I stopped trying a long time ago anyway. I was born wrong. I just accept it.

Good Day Gurus.

Been busy so far. Had to take the little blind woman to a hair appointment. I got to doggy sit while she was in.

Took the Impala to the carwash and knocked most of the salt off of it. Came home and started the Spring Cleaning. Dining room is 95% done, little bitty things to do to finish it. Tomorrow, the Living Room during the race.

And now it is off to the Akron Home and Garden Show ! Oh boy !

Between now and Monday morning, snow and lots of it. At one point I heard 6 to 12 inches.

Well, I went to school to do a few things. I came home and went to the kitchen sink to rinse a glass out, water starts squirting out from under the freaking handle....SH!T. There has been something wrong with that faucet since the day I put it in. Hot water would barely dribble out, cold water was OK. I'm thinking it must be some water conservation thing built in to the faucet, but when it started gushing today I knew there was another problem. Well, the squirting only happened if the hot water was on. Rosie and I jumped into the pickup and headed over to the "city" to get a different one. They tell me they'll take the other one back. WE pick up a different one and head home. I've got the new one on...again, we've got pressure on the hot and the cold this time. No major incidents and no cussing this time.

Have I ever told you guys, how much I hate f*@king plumbing?

For someone who hates plumbing Tom you seem to be working on it a lot..... I am not gifted in the fine art of diverting water to a specific place at a specific time. All a great mystery to me......thus the plumbers number is on my phone for easy contact.....which is good for them.......

Still cold here but someone said 60 degrees by mid week......uh huh....

Tom, If you installed a faucet and started squirting and not getting hot water it may have been a message. (Don't do any plumbing) But the money saved usually makes ignoring that message worthwhile.
