It's been a while since I've posted about my site, but I am still plugging away ...

1986 Mercury Capri (the forgotten Fox body)

Eighties Cars at the 2015 Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach

1985 Dodge Omni GLH (by Guru request a while ago)

Eighties Cars at the 2015 Mecum Kansas City

1987 Chevrolet Chevette CS Sedan (we saw one parked this morning — what am I supposed to do?)

Eighties Cars at the 2015 Mecum Indianapolis

Did you see the Chevette on BringATrailer.com?

It was a 78 2 dr hatch... with a monster 427ci big block in it. I will find pics.

I've seen more than a few ridiculously overpowered Chevettes. There are a couple out there with LS1 conversions ...

I thought the Omni GLH was a pretty cool little hatch back in the day - a friend of mine had the Shelby version. I had the misfortune of having to rent a Chevette on a business trip back around 1977 - I was convinced that I could get out and run faster than that thing. Hell, I probably still could.

Your rental probably had the base 1.4 liter engine making all of 57 bhp. Even Chevrolet was too ashamed to offer that after 1977 ...
