Good Morning CGs!

Rain here makes for a gloomy day. Rained all afternoon yesterday and then let up for the evening.

Got the wife's car detailed yesterday. The kids destroy it from the inside out. Once detailed it looked like a new car again. I had mine done in the fall and I'm going to have it done again probably next week. I know the owners of the car wash so they take care of me on the price. That way the detailer gets a nice tip and he's happy, too. Everyone wins.

Still haven't picked up the pool chemicals yet. Getting home late and tired cuts into my time with chores like that. I also have the PS pump sitting next to the car waiting to go in. One day....

Mike - have a nice time and the museum. That's one place I'd still like to visit.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning guys...I am up, but not totally awake. One cup of #1s great coffee but it hasn't kicked in yet. Very gray and drippy here this morning. Headed over to see #3 and family, get my hair cut, and Rosie to get her hair done. Then we are off, 3 1/2 hours southwest to a nieces wedding this evening. We'll get to see my brothers and my sister. We've only all been together a couple times since mom and dad have passed, that's been eight years. Something that my sis wants to do more frequently.

My sis/BIL, older brother, little brothers' wife and I are all now retired. Little brother has a couple more years before he says he is retiring. So hopefully we'll be able to get together. Older brother's health issues earlier this year, kind of, brought it to the forefront that we really should spend more time together.

Getting used to my new glasses. Kind of nice being able to read the little words on the iPad without having to enlarge the screen so big that I can' t see anything else.

Greetings! I'm up pretty early for a Saturday, gotta go rent a trailer to haul away my old shrubbery remains. It's gonna be sunny and low 60's, nice for laboring outdoors. Except for the laboring part.

Have a good day, yawlz!

FIRST MAJOR DECISION FOR THE DAY IS WHERE TO BREAKFAST. WILL IT BE IHOP OR THE BOOMERANG GRILL?

Brad, I have a trailer and would be willing to help. Just cover the gas and the lodgings. I can be there in a few days.

http://www.distance-cities.com/distance-minneapolis-mn-to-miami-fl

1800 miles X 2 = 3600 miles

3600/15 = 240 gals

240 x 250 = $600.00 in fuel

7 x $100 = $700.00 for lodging

$200 for food and copious quantities of Busch N.A.

Looks like I'd be able to help for only $1500.

What a deal Tommy. Watch out, someone might take you up on the offer, then you'd be in trouble with Sue.

Happy Saturday... Rain here due to ruin my day yet again. Ghetto pool looks nice and inviting though . Washed and put a coat of wax in the car yesterday and got after the nasty tailpipes that had been sorely neglected by previous owner.

Geez....what a day....went in early and got the windows tinted on the GS.....looooking gooooood! pics soon....

Then I had a call from my computer wizard guru guy and he informs me that my old Toshiba has an inscription virus and they want like 500 bucks for the way to unlock them....I said WTF about 4 times.....what is up with that.....he said luckily that my computer had a shadow file and he was able to pull all my documents up and off and saved everything.

I was in Lincoln and decided I had had enough of windows 7 and windows in general and went to Worst Buy and bought a MacBook Air and never looked back. He was able to pull off 2 books I have been writing for the last 10 years and my blistering expose of Religion vs. the Lord's Grace....an exhaustive work in progress......

....then when I got home my wife called and was in a mess because they cancelled her flight to Oakland so she would miss her connecting flight into Seattle....so I got on the phone and got her a non-stop from the Omaha into Seattle .......and don't ask what it cost two hours before the flight.....F'n airlines.....I hate em......

Have a nice day Gurus!

Good afternoon gang.

Had nice weather here for the most part today. A couple of sprinkles. We had a good time at the corvette museum. Car looks good Marcus. We watched someone pick up their new Z06 while we were there. The museum has come a long ways since lat time we were there. Don't know what our plans are for tomorrow but I'm sure it will be relaxing.

I do believe it's time for a tasty beverage. I got all my hauling done - had to make 2 trips since they didn't have the bigger trailer available. Glad I had 4WD as it was all muddy at the yard waste dump site. Then on the way home I bought a tow hook to mount to my tow chain - that helped persuade the remaining stubborn roots to let go of Mother Earth. The yard is a jungle, but mowing will wait until tomorrow.

Looks great, Marcus. BTW, you need one of these for your garage:

Well, not so good news so far with the car. I got the rebuilt pump installed. I bled the system and noticed I wasn't getting good circulation. I took the return line off and I do have some pressure, but not enough. This is my old pump that was pumping just fine before all of this nonsense. My theory is that when the rebuilt pump I put on took a shit, it clogged up the high pressure line. I'm going to take that off later and flush it as well as the rack. The never ending f'in project.
