Saka ewarisma!

It was raining cats, dogs and a variety of woodland creatures earlier - traffic was "delightful". It looks like it has abated for the time being - we'll see if it clears up enough for golf later.

Stay dry, Gurus!

I was just out at the supermarket picking up some lunch and in the parking lot I saw an "interesting" C3. It was somewhere in the '74 to '77 bracket but I can't narrow it down any further than that. Coupe, T-tops, nice chrome sidepipes, and the front and read caps had been replaced with fiberglass. I know that was a common "upgrade" back in the day. But what caught my eye was the color. It was some sort of Robin's Egg Blue. A bit deeper than the old Pontiac Skybird blue. Really didn't work for me. But, someone likes it and is happy with it.

CAREFUL WHO YOU PLAY WITH:

A guy was getting ready to tee off on the first hole when a
second golfer approached and asked if he could join him.
The first said that he usually played alone, but agreed to the twosome.
They were even after the first few holes. The second guy said,
"We're about evenly matched, how about playing for five bucks a hole?"
The first guy said that he wasn't much for betting, but agreed to
the terms.

The second guy won the remaining sixteen holes with ease.As they
were walking off number eighteen, the second guy was busy counting his
$80.00.
He confessed that he was the pro at a neighboring course and liked
to pick on suckers.

The first fellow revealed that he was the Parish Priest.
The pro was flustered and apologetic, offering to return the money.
The Priest said, "You won fair and square and I was foolish to bet
with you. You keep your winnings."
The pro said, "Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?"
The Priest said, "Well, you could come to Mass on Sunday and make a donation.

And, if you want to bring your Mother and Father along, I'll marry them.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Gris, I got the grass cut last night after the sun started going down. Not going to do it at high noon. July certainly has rebounded with the nice high temps we've been waiting for. 89 now. Kids have been in the pool every day for the last week at least. We'll go in later today, as well.

Just got home from taking the kids to a local river walk park. Fed the ducks, had a picnic, and then they played on the playground. A nice time and they enjoyed it.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

So nice to be in the air conditioning today.. but unlike yesterday - today's trade off is the owner is here annoying the heck out of me. He pulled off his truck wrap and wants something different. I'm bout to hide a bunch of fat half naked women in there. Working on a dragster wrap today too, trying to not do much.

Hey guys...up and around early today. Went across town and got my helpers pretty early today (grandsons ). Worked in the shop for a while, then had to run over to the "city" to pick up commodities for the health office (where Rosie is administrator) Truck was supposed to be there at 10....didn't show up until 11:20, then took about an hour to load the stuff up. Then we headed back and helped unload and put stuff in boxes to distribute to the needy. Then I had to feed those two boys...Subway (their choice) After eating, we went back to work putting trim pieces on the kitchen cabinet job. Which we got most all of it done.

The cool front pushed through this afternoon too. It should be a decent day tomorrow to install the "barn doors" we built for the lawn building. The highs are supposed to be mid 80's in the afternoon.
