Many of you know that I'll watch just about any racing with four wheels, so I follow a long list of racing series'.

This afternoon, at the Indy Racing League race in Pocono, Justin Wilson was hit in the head by the nose cone from another car that had just crashed. Likely unconscious, he then hit the inside wall hard. The superb IRL medical team quickly got him out of the car and medavac'd him to the local trauma center via helicopter, but it's bad—he's in a coma and in critical condition.

I'd feel for anybody in racing who gets seriously hurt, but Justin has always given that undeniable impression of being a "good guy", so this really stings. #PrayersForJustin

Yea, he always seemed like a good guy and a clean driver.
Hope he can recover.

And wrap every tree at the Lake Tahoe ski resorts with foam rubber?

Racing is dangerous but many things in life are.

Racing is dangerous... But seeing anyone get hurt in our safety conscious world creates a collective flinch.

War is safer... racing is safer... cars are safer... smoking is safer... where is the risk?

Justin was injured doing what he loves... and much like Filipi Massa, will more then likely recover.

Canopies won't fix this... these are random acts that happen on race tracks, and always will.

Look at football these days. Guys going down with concussions and we are surprised they have brain damage.

If's sad... at one level, but remember, 40+ years ago, they were killing off a driver a month. I think things are much better today.
