Cold and dreary out with some light sprinkles. Not sure if rain is in the forecast today.

Wife took the kids to the county livestock fair a couple of counties over. Her father gets chickens and feed over there, and the kids like looking at the animals. Hopefully the weather is OK for them.

A SUNNY 50 DEGREES IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING. THE CHEROKEES ARE GOING TO HATE TO SEE THIS NICE WEATHER END. BUT WINTER MUST COME, AND I'VE GOT A FEELING IT WILL BE A COLD ONE. COLD I CAN HANDLE, IT'S ICE THAT'S EVIL.

I MAY HAVE TO EXTEND THE TOMATO'S DRIVE TIME TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS TOP DOWN WEATHER. I USUALLY SWITCH CARS ON MONDAY.

Another sunny day here. We had a fun time at the golf tournament yesterday - lousy golf, but good company. My oldest son and his GF came over last night and stayed to watch football today - they're out securing an ample supply of snacks. A lot of couch-denting is on the agenda.

......gloom dispare and agony on us......deep dark depression and excessive misery......if it weren't for bad luck we'd have no luck at all......that is the new theme song for Husker Football......I cannot ever remember a time in my life that the Huskers were 2-3 at this point in the season.....maybe the early 60's or late 50's.......The State is in an uproar, lynch mobs are roaming the streets in Lincoln.....grown men weep.......women wring their hands and call out to the heavens.......why oh why is this happening to us.........

why couldn't I have been born in Ohio........or Minnesota....oh wait the gophers got their ass kicked also.....can't wait to play them......

Did not even read the paper today....couldn't.....but had a nice sleep in. Still healing up from the trip.....and back to work tomorrow.....nuts.....have a good day Guru's......

ALMOST DONE WITH PUTTING A NEW COAT OF REJECT ON HARVEY. MAKES THAT WHITE PAINT GLOW. THIS IS A MULTI-DAY TASK FOR ME; I HAVE TO DO IT IN STAGES TO PREVENT ARTHRITIC HANGOVERS.

Hey guys, got up early and went to church. Then we took #3 and family out for breakfast and headed home. Stopped to see FIL and tell him we'll be back the end of the week on our way to and from the funeral.

It was a beautiful day, a bit of brisk wind, but nice anyway.

Got some things to do before we head back at the end of the week.

What about them Royals? Swept the twinkies and ended up with the best record in the American league. Let's all hope that they can continue their good play.
