Test fitted the new gas tank, it won't stay on because the frame won't roll under the body that way.

All the components are factory correct. Nuts & bolts are the correct plating and head markings, paint markings like they did in 67.

Very nice! Makes my back hurt just thinking of all the hours spent cleaning, etc.
Are you keeping a log on hours spent?

Nope, probably would make me

I figured just the bodywork and paint was 600 hours. But there was a LOT of bodywork to bring it back to all fiberglass.

600 - 1,000 more in mechanical so far, easily another 600 to go.

Everything you touch takes at least an hour, repairing the heater fan mount and heater core cover was 5 hours, rebuilding the head light motors 4 hours, restoring the grill, 4 hours, etc.

The bodywork was the worst part.

I'm thinking that you are working pretty cheap, even for yourself.

Yea, I gave myself a deal.

I usually charge $40/hour to work on race cars..........
and $125/hour to touch someone's street car.

Nowhere , gotta sell something before that.
The engine will be $1,800 to $2k with me building it. then, $500 for the chrome shielding, $200 to do the Muncie.

The paint does look good.....in pics..........about 125 to 150 hours to cut & buff all of it.
It gets sanded 3 more times then buffed 3 times.
It took 5 hours just to sand and buff the 2 headlight buckets and that was 2 of us doing it.
