Good morning

Just got finished checking out Tom's craftsmanship at Marcus's home. The thought came to me (you know this CAN'T be good), that now there is now more space to store more stuff. As a stuff collector, if you build it, it can be filled. Marcus, time for U-woman to buy more stuff so you can have Tom build more cabinets and shelves to fill up.

IT'S A SUNNY 27 DEGREES IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, WINTER SEEMS TO HAVE ARRIVED. THE CHEROKEES ARE GETTING OUT THEIR LONG WOOLLIES.

I STAND IN AWE OF OUR GURU CABINET MEISTER. THAT LEVEL OF CRAFTSMANSHIP VERGES ON ART.

AND IN THE NEWS: THERE’S A DEADLY DISEASE GOING AROUND; CHECK YOUR SNAKE FOR FUNGUS.

Uh.....those new selves are already full to overflowing so what do we do now......? Now we need more shelves.......its a vicious circle.....it will be a hell of a sale when the kids auction it all off after we are gone.......we got stuff........

The sun is shining but its cold out. I will go get a truck washed today and take some naps and lay around watching some football.....I see Gris's Cowboys got beat yesterday......his Pappy Van Winkle Special reserve probably took some hits last night.......The Gophers won so Brad is feeling content today and the Hawkeyes won so they will be coming to Lincoln at 11-0 so the spoiler roll is ours for the taking plus a better bowl game if we win.......Michigan State beat Ohio State and we beat Sparty.....ok so we got a call in our favor but we still won damit....... Did I ever mention I love college Football........

Morning guys....Slept in a bit. I got the Christmas lights up on the house yesterday. While at M's house, Rosie said that she would stain a vanity that I had built, Friday. Well Thursday night she texts and says "...the cabinet is stained". I told Marcus, that beings she had the staining done, she'll probably start putting Christmas up. When I got home Friday evening, I notice that she has the house decorated. So it was nice enough yesterday afternoon to complete the transition to Christmas. We had been given a timer for the lights, and we picked up all new strings of LEDs for the house. I got them all up and plugged in to the timer and programmed the timer. Went to church and while there the lights came on and shortly after we went to bed the lights went off. OK, program is set. I wake up this morning and Rosie says "Are the lights still on?" "No, they went out at 10:45." "Well," she says, "they were back on at 2 when I woke up." I guess I have some work to do on the programming.

Hidey-ho! It is "crisp" out there again today - there is a dusting of a snow-like substance on the deck, but just on the deck, so I'm not sure what's up with that. Big football day here, we are all hoping to send the Packers packing.

Ok, I figured out the timer....duh. Got the first coat of finish applied, too.

I spent some time this morning watching a show I recorded on Veloctiy about Paul Newman and his racing career. Very interesting, even Rosie was watching and commenting on how good of a driver he was. I highly recommend watching it.

Had the privilege of BS'ing with him very early in the morning at a Trans Am race at Summit Point, W.Va. in the early 70's.

Too bad he didn't start 20 years earlier but his racing accomplishments were better than most drivers.

He was one of a kind - you could talk to him at the racetrack as long as it was about racing. I was just reading the other day that Newman's Own has given almost a half-billion dollars to charity. Remarkable man.

Gris - I helped my 7 year old with a little homework yesterday on the Cherokee Nation when they started out in the Southeast US. She's a little too young to understand a lot of it, but thought dugout canoes were pretty cool.

Out running errands now.
