Headed out pretty soon to install a vanity. Then back to the shop to finish getting things ready to leave for KC. Looks like we have a window with the weather again. I really don't want the new desk to get wet.

Well the Viqueens got beat I see but the Chef's won and so did Denver with the new QB.......those are the only one's I keep track of......

All trucks are running today except the Pete who is in the shop getting a new u joint installed.......they run bad when those fly apart.......

Have a good day Guru's.......start cutting back on food intake the next few day so you are starved by the time the feast happens.......that's what I like to do........

It was 29 here last night. I'm not made for this shit. The sun is shining brightly beckoning me to come outside and enjoy the pretty warm weather in a lawn chair and flip flops with a cold beer - liar - it's 39.
At the wrap office today to make up for us closing on Thurs-Friday. Body shop friend didn't have much going on. He's headed to Missouri to his son's this week so no need for me there.
Had a bout with some flu like mess - slept a bunch, seemed to help.
Everyone got a ton of holiday plans?

Good Afternoon CGs!

Dropped the kids off at school this morning, hit the post office to mail some Xmas cards, then off to mom and dad's. Putzed around the house for a bit then we went to Sears and I ordered a new fridge for our house. With my mom's store credit (if you remember that mess) the new fridge cost me $300. Not too bad for a fridge that's normally around $1400 and is on sale for $1100. After several weeks of looking, this is the one we picked out:

http://www.sears.com/kenmore-26.5-cu- ... frigerator/p-04651132000P

Time for a workout and then pick up the kids.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

good afternoon gang!

posting from 35k feet!

Flying back from a quick weekend trip to visit family in FL.

About an hour 20 away from landing in Vegas, then a short hop to LAX. These long flights sure drag on.

That's about it!

First the ice maker wouldn't make ice. Than the ice got stuck and wouldn't come out. Got jammed. Ice maker is very slow. Now I have a clicking in the back of the refrigerator. The side where we keep the milk is no longer cold. By looking it up on line, it could be the relay switch to the compressor. The repair man is on his way out this afternoon. I have had them out 3 times already. Oh yeah, a shelf on the freezer side on the door cracked. Delivered the wrong shelf. I think the best thing to do is take this back. It was bought in October 2014. I wonder if they sent me a used or repaired refrigerator ?

The only thing this appliance does correctly is keep things cold! It had all the features I wanted, but it is poorly made. Makes a lot of noise just running, especially the freezer. Door on the fresh food compartment makes noise when opening and has no stop...it slams into the cabinet. Ice/water dispenser is extremely difficult to use,so if you have weak arms or hands don't buy this one.

I've been closely monitoring the fridge for issues, just cause there is so many bad reviews. Turns out, this is not cold enough inside. Its been 1 week since I bought it and Sears wont let me return it, instead requires me to do the repair service route. I can only wonder why........

Terrible design, center wall is cheap plastic and will bow out and cause door to rub, ice maker to rub. Our replacement fridge was delivered and same thing, center wall bowed out towards the freezer. This time it caused a gap so large that the fridge door has a constant opening and will not seal. Runs constantly to keep cold air in because of the cold air escaping. Sears is not willing to work with us to get a different model. We will be returning this and shopping elsewhere !!!

It was good!

I got everything done that I planned on getting done today. Bathroom vanity done, bathroom trim done and all loaded for the trip to KC. Rosie baked a 24lb Turkey today and had #2 and the grandsons over for supper tonight....kind of our Thanksgiving with them, beings they are staying here.

Tomorrow I get to go to the Middle school to be with #3 grandson's "Inter-generation day" .....Not sure why they don't call it "Grandparents day". Then, on Wednesdaym I get to take #3 to his dental appointment, so spending some quality time with #3. We will leave for KC Wednesday afternoon.

I saw one guy that rated your fridge at 1 star then gave a positive review. Guess he thought 1 meant excellent.
