Good Morning CGs!

Well, after months of searching....it finally happened. I have been looking for a set of 16" rims to fit my Audi for the winter. I've been on CL every night looking. I emailed/called/texted four different people this weekend and came up empty. If you see a set for a decent price and contact them more than 2 hours after it is posted, they are gone. Well yesterday at about 1 pm I saw a new post for a set. They were in like new condition and cheap, but over an hour away. I texted the guy anyway and told him I'd come pick them up. Made arrangements with the wife so I could leave in the evening and get them. Drove out and picked them up, drove home. No drama. 137 mile round trip, but it was worth it. $50 for a set of 4, and my search is over. I'll get the tires mounted today. I'm a happy guy.

The short work-week is almost half over already. Usually this is a quiet week, but that wasn't the case yesterday - I seemed to be very popular. Hopefully things will calm down today.

A scant 52 years ago today:

Morning guys...Inter-generational day for me. I get to go to the middle school to play games with my #3 grandson. Then I think I'll do a couple of computer service calls. In reality, I'm thinking that I am done with cabinetry until after Christmas. Getting a little worried about income taxes for this year. I hope that my quarterly payments will be enough to cover my earnings....we'll see.

Sunny here and cold - again. Supposed to have warmed up but not yet. Trying to get myself motivated to get my stuff together for what I'm cooking for Thanksgiving tonight. Been online trying to find a certain game chair with pedestal for BF. There's an X-Rocker Pro 4.1 but can't find it any longer with pedestal. He doesn't want one of the kind that sits in the floor. Also trying to motivate my grinch self to put up a tree this weekend, have to do all her crap at the nursing home too. I have a four day weekend and really rather just hibernate. Good score on the wheels Matt!

I basically got nothing done today. Went to school and played games with my grandson, chatted with a couple of my, former, teacher friends....the former part is me not being a teacher anymore. Came home warmed myself some turkey and dressing leftovers for lunch. Then went out to some friends house this afternoon to work on their computers, came home about the time Rosie came home from work ate some supper and sitting here watching TV.

Oh, yea, nice score Matt. Due-diligence pays off.
