Day before Thanksgiving, is everyone ready? What are the big plans everyone has going on? We will be going to my mom and dad's house. Sister, BIL, and niece are flying in today to visit. No cooking for us. I ordered some flowers from my friend's shop, so that will be our contribution to dinner...

Dropped my rims and tires off at DT last night. I will pick them up tonight after work. Then I'll be all set for winter (I hope). Looking forward to seeing how much better they handle the snow. I always hear how great snow tires are, so I'm excited to put them to the test.

No car updates, it's just kind of there. I really need to get to work on it.

Happy Thanksgiving Eve! Everyone got their stretchy pants ready for action? Hoping for a quiet day to ease into the holiday weekend. Looking forward to going to my niece's in northern MN tomorrow, we always have a good time up there.

Morning guys...getting ready to take #3 grandson to his dental appointment. Then when Rosie gets off work we'll head for KC. Hoping that she'll be able to get off around 3. The earlier we get away, the better chance we'll get there without weather issues. I'll install the desk Sunday afternoon.

Nice and cool but occasional drizzles. Relatives coming over and we're heading to The Alligator Farm so they can soak in some local flavor. They're in from California, New York and Ohio. I'm trying to relax a bit but that's hard to do when you're hanging around with Sue. Do you guys ever drift into a mindless state? Most guys I know do. That's what women are good at. Finding when you've drifted off into la-la land and snapping you out of it. Watch for this when you're pushing a cart through a store. You drift away because you don't need to think, just push a cart. That's when a woman is guaranteed to ask you a question or make you look at something.

Yes.....I was in a mindless state when I wandered off in this morass of mud and corn stalks.....just out of the picture there is a Honda 4 wheeler up to its armpits in a mud hole......that's why I said lets drive the truck over there and pull out the Honda with a big chain.......finally a big green tractor showed up and pulled us all out......who says soil sampling isn't exciting......wonder what I was thinking? what a dumbass......





No big plans.....Uboy is home and looks hungry and the laundry room is full of dirty clothes......

One of the husbands of a teacher that Uwoman teaches with was hauling a couch up out of their basement trip and fell hitting his head 11 days ago and passed away yesterday after never regaining conciseness......holy cow....what a sad deal.....he had just gotten a big promotion at his work.....

Today I am resting up from my labors and the weather is supposed to get real bad later today.......Gonna be cold for the game Friday and we have been warned to get their early due to extra security measures.....nice!

Sorry to hear about the unexpected death. We never know when and none of them are easy.
Heading to my cousin's house again this year. Her and her sister are getting the bird and pig together, I'm taking two icebox cheesecakes I made, a Mississippi Mud cake, a crock full of bourbon bbq little smokies with baked beans and some parmesan/swiss cheese bread I make they all like.
After that I suppose we'll be taking plates to the one in the nursing home. I need to rake up leaves before all this as we have a weeks' worth of rain coming too starting Friday. If I can't find the time Thursday morning before heading out then it'll be two more weeks before it can be done.

Letty, you're making me hungry and I'm trying to not spoil my appetite before tomorrow.

Evening, we made about the quickest trip to KC we've made. Except for the stop in Junction City, for gas and a bite to eat. McDs is right there where we put gas in. It took 30 freaking minutes to get our food there....freaking ridiculous. Even with the 30 minute break we made it to #1 house in 5:50 . I was pushing the limit 6 to 7 over today, unless my Escort was going off, then I would back off to 5 over.

Could have easily done it in 5:30 today. Tired tonight.
