Morning guys....I was sleeping very soundly when the alarm went off. Not sure I want to be up.

But I am , so make the most of it. Unlike Marcus, we don't have to dig out from the big storm. A little further north of us, they got as much as 14 inches of the crap. Good moisture, but a real pain to deal with while it melts. Going to be cold for a few days as the snow we have melts.

More work in the shop today. I trust everyone out there will have a good day.

Kids are up and already had breakfast. I'll drop them off at school soon. After that I plan on tinkering in the garage, hopefully get a couple of little things done prepping the block before assembly. I don't think I'll drop it in today. I have a few other chores to take care of that I've been putting off.

Hope you guys who were snowed in can dig out.

LETTY, IF THE LAKE BESIDE THE STEAKHOUSE WAS RAY HUBBARD, THEN THE TOWN I GREW UP IN IS JUST ON THE OTHER SIDE: ROCKWALL.

Holy Moly....good news is the sun is out.....bad news is we can see between 14 to 18 inches of new snow.....most of it in our driveway......old snowblower don't fail me now.....From North Platte to Lincoln the State got hammered. All major roads are closed until they can be opened up for traffic. I 80 is shut down and thousands of big trucks are idled as they await the snow plows...

Geez what a mess.......kinda makes me long for the warm climes......could be worse....we could be stuck in Toronto.....

After breaking my fast I will be outside a lot running the Toro...guess that is why we have it......enjoy your day Guru's.......

Was nice and cool early this morning but the heat has crept back in. Sent our passports off to be renewed. Let's see how long it takes. This year is supposed to be a bear for passport renewals. 10 years ago Uncle made it a requirement to have a passport to travel abroad to any country including Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean. I jumped in early to see if I can beat the crush. They say 6 weeks processing time. I'm leaving for Mexico in about 7 weeks. I think (hope) it will take 4 weeks or less. I didn't want to kick out an extra $120 for expedited service. (3 weeks). That money can be better spent on the 3 card poker table. I did send them Express Mail with an Express return fee though. Work to do ........ Adious .....

....taking a break for a bit.......got the area outside the shop done now working on the 3 miles of driveway........slow going......not enough equipment but we are making it work........

Looks like a lot of the white stuff, Marcus. Just be careful and take a lot of breaks.

No snow here, but cold rain. I was in the yard this morning for about an hour and a half trimming the fruit trees (three of them). It looks like a butcher came through. My own fault, though. I didn't trim the apple and pear trees the past two years and their height was way overgrown. Looked nice, but not good for productive fruit. So I had to head back the branches significantly. Some of the branches I cut were 6 feet long. The peach tree is still young so that was mostly training cuts.

After that I got in a nice workout, and should get a chance to tinker with the car this afternoon.

Bill, indeed I'm at Ray Hubbard lake. Sitting here in islamorada fish co having lunch. At least I got to see a palm tree.
And the truck made the news... Their ins may not pay due to criminal intent .. Great prayers needed there

Another busy day. Worked in the shop all morning. Ate lunch with the old folks, then came home to work on some more stuff. Tonight I am standing in for the president for our mens group, he's in New York at a school. So I spent a couple hours getting stuff ready for that and was working on a computer at the same time. Still working on the computer, but will need to stop pretty soon and go to the meeting.

That's a lot more snow than we had Marcus....take it easy moving all the stuff.

I kinda got lost on where Letty is also.......the palm tree looks good though.....I like palm trees.....
