... this came today (the model came out on March 1st). The Speed Champions line has been out for a few years—there's been a Porsche 918 Spyder, a McLaren P1, a Ferrari 458 Italia GT2, a LaFerrari, a McLaren Mercedes F1, a double Porsche 911 GT2 set, and a Ferrari F14 T.

This is the first Corvette in the series—others just released include an Audi R8 LMS ultra, an Audi R18 e-tron quattro, a Ford Mustang GT, a double Chevrolet Camaro drag race set, a Ford F-150 Raptor combined with a Ford Model A hot rod, and a Porsche 919 hybrid and Porsche 917k kit.  As you might have surmised, Lego is covering a wide range of motorsports.

These are not highly complex or expensive models—at 173 pieces, this is one of the smallest sets I've ever purchased. Ivelis and I will likely assemble it this afternoon

This one stays as the Lego folks intended—definitely not true of all my models ...

... you could always put the wheels from the Camaro on (Lego will happily sell you individual bricks).
