That would be correct—Corvettes are one of the reasons he got into the business. I remember when some early and very unattractive renderings of what would become the C7 came out, he said something like "Whoever did these doesn't understand GM Design."

Ed was always quietly protective and understanding of how important the Corvette is; may the next head of GM Design be a worthy successor.
