I have not done too much this year..

I have the HD Tuner working with my Newsmy radio.
I like the Newsmy but miss a volume knob. I have a USB kob that will work as long as the notification sound off off on my unit. but then finding a good spot to mount it is a challenge.

The newsmy does not offer any sort of EQ for the output from the radio or AUX input and is running android 4.4.2

So base off of a thread on CF, I bought another android radio (with 5.1.1). purchase was a wash since I sold my App Radio 2..

I have to do some paint work on my car, so I will probably pull the dash pad off to install this (since I need to get to the GPS Sensor to swap it)

That above is in the car.. last Android unit had some issues and I missed the physical volume knob.

I just installed the unit last night and still have some things to finish, but I am hoping to try it out this week.

I do need to fix the bezel as I cracked it and need to clearance it a bit more.

but happy with the look and I am able to see it with my polarized sunglasses

Sure does look good... but how does it sound?

Pretty decent for a Chinese radio. Better than the last one. Bluetooth stream works okay. couple of the default apps are crap but overall it is decent. even the stored music has good sound..

I improved the mounting tonight to get the bezel flush.. MUCH better

I am hoping the sound is about to improve. I bought myself one of these:

I just need a mic for tuning. I have the 8 channels on my amps to try it out one channel per speaker
