Hey Gurus...

Been busy yesterday and today already. Last night I spent 3 hours putting a new dresser together for RR#1s room. Still have an hour left today. But before that I had to check out mom's storm door. It's never been "right" and I've fixed it a couple of times already. Got blown open in a storm last week and bent the whole door pretty good. Not salvageable. We went to Menard's and picked up a new one. I'll get that installed later. I have to go get the kids in a bit so I didn't have time to start.

Hey guys....slept an extra hour this morning, but that put me an hour behind. Went out to the shop to match up stain, got a phone call about a computer issue, so when I left to get the stain I stopped by to look at the computer. That ended up being a 2 1/2 hour ordeal, but I think I got it fixed up. Now I need to grab a bite and then a chiropractor appointment in a little. The back is doing a little better today, at least headed the right direction.

Got the renewal for Corvette insurance, 386 for six months...I can live with that. Well I better grab that bite.

Thanks a lot Matt. No doubt Matt put some kind of voodoo curse on me. I was cleaning house, vacuuming in the livingroom and the hose wrapped around a numbered ceramic piece called Slipper Orchid. Number 160 of 360 made. It crashed to the floor into a 160 pieces. I did what any good red blooded American husband would do in this situation. I gathered the pieces, put them in a large storage bag, took the base and put it all in a box marked Broken Ceramic Piece and put it in the garage for storage. I then rearranged the table to make it look like nothing is missing. Let's see how long it takes Sue to notice. I'm gonna run out and date the box just to keep track. I'll get in trouble one day but it might not be today.

It wasn't a voodoo curse Tommy - it was a you-do curse. As in you do the lawn, you do the vacuuming, you do the dishes...

My turn on the hot seat. Mom is in the hospital. I believe they diagnosed it as A-Fib so apparently they have a plan for her. My sister is not so good. She has an inoperable brain tumor that is getting worse. She had two seizures today and is unconscious. She also suffers from end renal failure as well as her heart and lungs that are not fully functioning. She does not have a DNR order and her husband is hoping she is just going to snap out of it like she has so many times before. Her days have been numbered for many years now and she has made some unbelievable recoveries. Pretty much I'm just waiting for the call. I've been here before.

took a late load of steel down to Salina. Made good time but got waylaid by an IHOP at the 252 exit on 70.......Tee knows it well.......went in and had a man's meal with pancakes and bacon and an omelet......that would be a western omelet with liberal amounts of Tabasco sauce.......washed it down with a cup of 100 mile mud and I was ready to roll........now that's living.......
