Greetings! Us old guys pulled it off and won the tournament yesterday (a scramble). We only had 3 players as our 4th's dad just passed away recently and he was busy with family. We were -9, not bad for a bunch of old hackers. We're supposed to play this morning, but it is pretty soggy out there, rained overnight.

Enjoy your Friday, Gurus!

Dark cloud hovers over the us of late. Must weather the storm of stuff breaking down. We have to get everything up and running right then look forward to sunny skies and clear sailing. Till the next episode. Definitely a "WTF is going on?" period right now. Good thing I'm not at the 19th hole. That bottle of Jack would look awful tempting. Today is 15 years since I chatted with my old buddies, Jack, Johnnie, Jim or Bud.

GOOD GOING TOMMY.

STILL OVERCAST AND STICKY IN THE NATIONS, RAIN PREDICTED THIS AFTERNOON AND TOMORROW. YESTERDAY WE HAD LITTLE SHOWERS OFF AND ON, NOT EVEN A QUARTER INCH TOTAL. JUST ENOUGH TO GET HARVEY ALL MESSY GOING TO TAHLEQUAH AND BACK.

OFF TO TULSA TO SET UP FOR THE "INCREDIBLE SHRINKING GUNSHOW". WILL BE GOOD TO SEE FRIENDS AMONG THE DIEHARDS.

Morning guys...we are loaded and ready to head toward central Kansas. My brother, the one we almost lost a year or so back, is having his 65th birthday today, and having a get together tonight with family, and tomorrow evening a more 'public' gathering.

I picked up another job today, for the guy I built the vanity for. He's got another project going and he wants me to build some special doors...barn type doors for the interior of the project. 15 of them. I can do that!

Congrats Brad! We won Monday night we were -7 on nine holes. We were really scrambling Go spend that money on the tool chest Bill.!

Got to run for now.

It was a sunny Sunday morning, and Murray was beginning his preshot routine, visualizing his upcoming shot, when a voice came over the clubhouse loudspeaker. "Would the gentleman on the ladies' tee please back up to the men's tee."

Murray remained in his routine, seemingly unfazed by the interruption.

A little louder: "Would the man on the women's tee kindly back up to the men's tee!"

Murray raised up out of his stance, lowered his driver, and shouted, "Would the announcer in the clubhouse kindly shut up and let me play my second shot?"

Ooohhhhhh!

Good evening CGs!

Saw the ENT early this morning. He removed the stents from my nasal passages. That was almost instant relief from pressure. The stents were inserted to keep the nasal passages open during recovery, and also contain a slow release steroid. Technology.

Kids had their third day of school already. Taking them to the back to school night in a few minutes. Should be fun. #2 has #1s old teacher for first grade, so we know what to expect there and it's all positive. #1s third grade teacher seems to be quite good as well. So this should be a good upcoming school year.

TB, you'll need to find time in between all of these retirement projects to go check out that little 2 seater. After all, I bet it's faster than the Quick and the Silver sans SC/headers.

Enjoy the weekend, Gurus.

It was a good evening with my brother and family (mostly SIL family) as there isn't many of our family left. My sister and her hubby couldn't make it as she started chemo for breast cancer that was found a month ago. She was waiting until the last minute hoping she could make it. My brother is on oxygen all the time now and basically stuck in a wheelchair. All related to his smoking. Not sure what the dr told him at a recent appointment, but SIL says he is at ease with everything, and that he should do whatever he wants to do an d is able to do. So it makes me think that he doesn't have a lot of time left. This is pretty hard.......

We are going back tomorrow to hang with the guys, Rosie will hang with the girls, that means I will take her up,where they are.

Oh, speaking of that, my 90 y/o mom has a contract on a condo in the building next to where she's renting. Same floor plan and size only she'll own it. Whatever makes you happy, ma. There's a big back story of how that came about but I'll leave that to the soap operas.
