Well we did not get the big rain I really wanted......dang it......we got about .30 here.......geez.....colder out this morning though......

Morning guys... Slept like a log. Woke up and went down to the free breakfast. Ate with little brother, SIL and Rosie. little brother is headed to Wichita for the Truitt and Osborn all motorcycle drags. He races his bobber. Finished in the money last year. Today is time trials. Tomorrow are eliminations. This morning I'll take Rosie out to be with the girls and I'll go over to nephews house to hang with the guys. Rained some last night,not sure how much, but the Corvette didn't melt.

My day involves wires. Fuel pump spins and will be priming lines. priming engine with oil. Running gauge wires. Trying not to burn down the project.
It is hot again in South Texas. |

Hidey-ho! Had a golf tournament this morning - we had to quit after 9 holes due to rain and sloppy conditions. That duck was probably out there somewhere. Lunch afterward was good, won a few bucks, had a nice nap when I got home. Not a bad day all in all. Some friends are coming over later for pizza. Stop by if you're in the neighborhood ;-)

NICE DAY AT THE GUNSHOW, GATE WAS FAIR AND THERE WERE ABOUT THE SAME OR SLIGHTLY MORE VENDORS THAN LAST TIME. MAYBE IT'S STOPPED SHRINKING BUT IT'S SURE NOT GROWING MUCH. PEOPLE WERE BUYING GUNS, NOT SWORDS. I BOUGHT SOME .22 MAG AMMO AND SOME TOASTED PECANS. WE HAD A PLETHORA OF DONUTS. I BROUGHT A DOZEN AS I USUALLY DO AND FOR SOME REASON SAM ALSO BROUGHT A DOZEN. THE GUY THAT USUALLY BRINGS THE IRISH CREAM FELL DOWN ON THE JOB AND RECEIVED VERBAL ADMONISHMENTS FROM THE ASSEMBLED BRETHREN. |
