Howdy! We had some pretty good thunderstorms overnight, which was great since it hadn't rained for at least 56 hours. This seems to be about the rainiest August I can remember in quite a while.

Meanwhile, the gubbermint is going to the dogs:

SUNNY AND STICKY IN THE NATIONS, AUGUST HAS RETURNED. THE COOL WEATHER WAS FUN WHILE IT LASTED.

ADJUSTER LOOKED AT THE TOMATO YESTERDAY EVENING, TOOK BOCOUP PICTURES, AND TOLD ME NOTHING. THIS WAS NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD TO EXPECT. MY TREPIDATION IS WAXING.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY BUT A HAIRCUT. DARLING WIFE TALKING ABOUT GOING TO TULSA.

Hey guys...I hurried out to the shop this morning to spray finish while it was still cool. Come to find out, I didn't have to hurry as it has been cool all day. But I did get the vanity and the mirror frame finished. Then I built the drawer and cut, rout, and install the top to finish building the bedside table. Also the hinges for the chest came in and I got those mounted as well. This afternoon I've done two computer calls and stained the chest and bedside table.

One of my former students, who is a contractor in a town about an hour south of us, called me to see if I could/would build a pair of custom sized doors for a cabinet he built for one of his clients. Sure, why not. So now I'm in the basement, working on my CAD program designing those.

Worked a full day. Not on Tommy stuff but W O R K. That dreadful 4 letter word. Delivery tomorrow morning after which I hope to return to the regularly scheduled program I feel like taking a nap but a nap after 5:00 is never good for me. I'll just push through till I get a second wind.

Hey Gurus,

Did some errands today and bummed around the house. Rained most of the day. Just relaxing now.

Have a great day!
