Once a year the cooling fan relay goes out. Can't figure it out. I actually started keeping a spare. Any thoughts? 1984.

Is there a way to find out how much power the fan is drawing versus what the relay is able to supply?
I went thru this for a while on a former daily driver on the blower motor and its resistors. I think some of the larger Corvette supply companies offer an upgrade kit to change from the very early C4 relay to the late C4 relay. Try Ecklers or Mid-America, C-Central. Best of luck, and I hope this helps. |

Seems unusual. Check wiring in/around the area. Could also be an intermittent problem with the cooling fan motor.

I think Corvette Bob is on to something here. I'll do some research on the relays themselves. Thanks for your inputs guy's. Much appreciated.
