Morning guys....slept in a bit. Like Gris, it's sunny and not as cool this morning.

I'm going to spend the day cleaning the pickup and Caddy. They both have been a little neglected in that respect. Supposed to be in the low 80s, so I better utilize the nice weather.

Ahhh......a nice lazy morning laying around and reading the paper then dozing off and now up to break my fast.......

Steve so sorry to hear about your old doggie........I like my dog better than most people so I kinda know how hard this is hitting you.......

Went to the Husker game yesterday and after a lethargic performance we won.....they are going into the buzzsaw next 2 weeks with games at Wisconsin and Ohio State. Although Ohio State got beat by lowly Penn State yesterday on a blocked field goal attempt that was run back for a touchdown.......only in college football can stuff like this happen.....

Saw Uboy and Ugirl at their places of work as we stopped in to say high.....then home to watch the highlights of the Cubs game.......big doings in Chi town........and Cleveland for that matter.......I think its been 71 years since the Cubs have played in a world series and since 08 that they have won..........that's crazy yet the lovable losers have an incredible fan base around the world........

Have a relaxing day Guru's....

Good day everyone. I wanted to take my 911 out for a drive this AM. Went to start and nothing when I turned the key. Looked at the battery terminals and found the neg was loose. Real loose. Battery showed about 10.5 volts so I clamped the charger on it. Still wanting to take one of the cars out to pick up something intown, I uncovered the 91. She hasn't seen the road for awhile either.Fired her up, rinsed her down and away we went to stretch her legs a little. One thing I noticed is for some reason the car did not want to do the speed limit. 30 MPH zone was 45, 45 was 55 and so on. It appears that I can't drive 55. She's a real gas pig around town. Happy on the highway but around town I get around 9 mpg. 25+ on the hgwy. Anyway, I have to get the other cars into the rotation too. May have to go out for breakfast just to move the cars.

In local news. A black bear has been spotted in the neighborhood. Some beehives, chickens and pigs have been a victim of its desires. It sports a tag so that means it has already been relocated once. This time he's in for youth in Asia. That's what the forestry service said. I was just reading that the black bear population in Florida has been growing as has the human population creating more bear encounters. 4000+ black bears now inhabit the state says the experts. As much as I like wildlife, I like to keep it at a safe distance. The bears have already drug one woman from her garage by the head. She survived. In another attack a bear killed a man's dog and bit his pant leg. The dog more than likely was trying to protect its owner. Lucky.

Good Afternoon CGs,

Turned out to be a decent day here. Busy, as usual.

Marcus, I'm not an addict and I don't have a problem. I even passed on a set of wrenches last night that I should have bought

Tommy, I stretched the Vette's legs this morning on the open freeway. Speed limit is 70. I think I did something close to that...maybe. Car did well.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday.

Hey guys, 7 hours later I got the pickup cleaned inside and out, then the Caddy washed and clean inside. Noticed that it had been 7000 miles and the monitor was down to 18%, so I decided to change the oil and filter. About the time I got finished changing oil #1 GS pulls in with his CTS, which is totally filthy, and he says Grandma said to bring this over to you to clean.....I said "You're going to help, aren't you?" "Sorry gramps, I have homework to do." So I took the Caddy off the lift, and put the Corvette back on, and dropped the oil out of it, as it had been 13 months and 4200 miles. While that was draining I started scrubbing the bugs off the front of GSs' Caddy. Finished the oil change on the Corvette, then got back to washing the GSs CTS. After washing it I noticed it didn't shed any water, so I decided to give it a coat of Rejex. I laid the coat on and noticed the headlights were getting bad, so I hunt down the headlight restore kit I bought some time back and proceed to do a restore, sanding with 1500 and 3000 grit, then treating it with the other chemicals in the kit. They look better, acceptable, but not like new as the package suggests. Cleaned out the inside and buffed the Rejex and it looks pretty darn good.

I'm tired, but feel really satisfied with all I got done today. Listened to the 60s on 6 all day, makes it worthwhile.

It ended up about 82 this afternoon, really nice for being outside washing cars and in the garage, with the doors open, doing the services.

It takes on different colors, depending on the Suns' angle.

Oh hell ya. When a was a young man I kept my car spotless. (most of the time). I remember how unimpressed most women were that I kept such a nice car. lol. Now that I'm more mature I just keep them clean.
