Good morning and happy Thanksgiving to you all........I am thankful every day but its nice to have a day to remember all the blessing we have in this great country of ours.

Today I will sleep eat and watch football and then eat and nap in the big chair.......Uboy here the daughters are attending elsewhere.....

Those trains continue to have me shaking my head in amazement.....I would really like to see how he creates those masterpieces.........someone should do a TV show on those.......

Enjoy your day and family and friends Guru's......and give a word of thanks to the Lord for making it all possible.......

Happy T-day Y'all!
This the start of another holiday season, and the "orders" are already starting to arrive from the young'uns. As for me, I get to head to the sales floor for a new dishwasher and a complete round of cel phones for the family. My phone is a relative dinosaur, and the only dumb-fone in the house. Two of the other three are so outdated they no longer update and are becoming less cooperative by the day.
That being said, I seem to be drawn to a deal that offers hundreds in gift cards that can be used on the dishwasher. But I'm getting the pushback that says they want the apples, not oranges.
So the adventure continues, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!!!!!

We give thanks today and will celebrate with some native Americans later today as we have our traditional Thanksgiving meal at the Miccosukee resort and gaming complex. First we will make a donation to the tribe at the tables and slot machines followed by a nicely done buffet with a choice of food selections, some traditional. Hope you all enjoy your day and the precious memories created by you and yours. Remember discussion guidelines. NO RELIGION AND NO POLITICS if you want to have a good day.

Steve now owns Allen Models of Nevada, he probably has $100k in patterns for castings. He builds most of the other stuff, He has to ship the patterns to a founder in Los Angles to have the cast iron of aluminum done,

He also has copies of many of the original blueprints, like from the late 1800's. The engines are almost identical to their original big brothers.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

We leave shortly to drive the two of us and my parents over the river and through the woods up to Kutztown, were the oldest of my five sisters lives with her husband and their two teenage boys. It'll be a good test for the 2017, though I don't really believe it will drive any different than the 2014.

Bob, we also recently went dishwasher shopping to replace the GE Profile that we got a solid 10 and a half years out of. We ended up with another GE Profile, and two guys installed it yesterday (I have very weak plumbing skills). So far, we are both impressed with how well it cleans.

Happy Thanksgiving, Gurus!

Soon we'll be launching into the traditional activities for the day, and getting up close and personal with a large turkey. I already got started by deleting about a bajillion e-mails for Black Friday specials.

Hope you all have a great holiday!

Happy Thanksgiving CGs!

AT&T just left my house (yes, on Thanksgiving). Some company has been digging new fiberoptic cables in the neighborhood and guess what...on Monday they cut my phone line. We have DSL (or DSOL in my case) so we've been without home phone or internet the past few days. The tech laid a new temporary cable so we are back up and running.

Plan on going to the wife's aunt's house later for dinner. Should be a good time.

Hope everyone enjoys the day!

Matthew

Hey guys.....everyone here slept in a little extra. I went out to the shop to mess around some with the router. Decided to do a project that will be my first 'paying job'. I first ran it on some scrap material, then on the real thing. Did it that way because the real material is pretty expensive and I wanted to be sure.

It's a 'map' for a Frisbie golf course at one of the local parks.

While I was doing that, Rosie and #3 were working on getting the big meal ready. We all ate our fill, plus some. Most took a nap after that, but I went back out to the shop to do a few other things. Right now they are warming up the leftovers to eat again....I don't think I can do it....Oh, they're calling, got to go.

I lost a buck twenty at the casino slots but Sue picked up $156 at the Texas Hold em table. We tipped the table waiter at the buffet $30 for the table of 10.
