Hidey-ho! More snow coming - I decided I'd had enough freeway follies for one week, so I am telecommuting. If I had the Vette home, I could take it for a spin. Literally. Looking forward to a short commute to my nap chair later.

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Morning guys... Warm, 36, and what clouds there are, are wispy little feathers across the sky. Headed to mid 60s they say.

Had a church leadership meeting last night over in the 'city'. Typical BS from the higher-ups. And I told them so. Probably didn't make many friends last night. Tonight a local meeting to discuss that plus some local things. Not sure I want to be one of our churchs' "leaders".

Need to get to the shop and get some things done. Have a great day.

SEMI-SUNNY AND BREEZY, WIND PICKING UP, WILL HIT 70 THEY SAY. TODAY'S PRIORITY TASKS: BLOWER THE SUNFLOWER HULLS OFF THE WEST PATIO AND CLEAN THE INSIDE OF THE WINDSHIELD AND WINDOWS ON HARVEY THE '87.

THIS JUST IN:

The Worm Song! My mamma taught me that when I was little! She was a surgical nurse and would come home and tell me all kinds of gory stories. Fascinated me. And taught me what I always called "the worm song".
Warmed back up to spring here again but of course it's raining. When it's sunny, it's too cold to get out, when it's warm, it's too stormy to get out. Never fails. At least my office is dry.

I've been a busy beaver today. The wife decided we are changing the living room a little bit. We have a wall separating the living room and the family room and it has an arch in the middle of it to let light through. So the new plan is to close that in and put a wall unit entertainment center. I am always happy with what I have but she always wants to change things. At least I made good progress. Framing tomorrow.

If it were to truly be an entertainment center the TV would take up the top 2/3rds of the wall. The bottom third would be the shelved audio components/speakers. But, that's just me. You can still fix it.

I figured she was going so say take the wall clear out. Yes you made good progress. Matt. I'm with Tommy, a huge 80" TV and a wall full of audio and video equipment.

Back from church council meeting. I'm ramrodding the kitchen remodel project in our parish center, lots of talk about that. And they want this and this and this.....NOW! I got this, "Well, Tom, you're retired now you have lots of time." Yea, but I have a lot of others things going on too. Plus I am expected to do several other things around the church too.

Marcus, text me and we'll figure out a time to talk.

Lol

Great decorating tips. These might fill the livingroom void nicely.
