Morning folks.......got up early to let the dogs out.......earlier than this and decided to make coffee......went back to bed......got up later and my wife thanked me for making coffee.......said next time maybe you could use a filter........... what a mess.....

Hope the day goes better from here.......going to drive the big rigs today......listen to some country music as the rhythm of the highway rolls along.......supposed to get to 68 degrees today.......comon...it was 15 yesterday........where we at Nebraska....??

Howdy! Indeed, chewy coffee is not one of my favorites. Meanwhile, it's gonna be 45 today, and it is my last workday for a while. The countdown is now hours instead of days.

The “Coyote Principle.” #California

“The governor of California is jogging with his dog along a nature trail. A coyote jumps out and attacks the governor’s dog, then bites the governor. The governor starts to intervene but reflects upon the movie “Bambi” and then realizes he should stop because the coyote is only doing what is natural.
He calls animal control. Animal Control captures the coyote and bills the state $200 testing it for diseases and $500 for relocating it.

He calls a veterinarian. The vet collects the dead dog and bills the state $200 for testing it for diseases.

The governor goes to the hospital and spends $3,500 getting checked for diseases from the coyote and on getting his bite wound bandaged.

The running trail gets shut down for six months while Fish & Game conducts a $100,000 survey to make sure the area is now free of dangerous animals.

The governor spends $50,000 in state funds implementing a “coyote awareness program” for residents of the area. The State Legislature spends $2 million to study how to better treat rabies and how to permanently eradicate disease throughout the world.

The governor’s security agent is fired for not stopping the attack. The state spends $150,000 to hire and train a new agent with additional special training re: the nature of coyotes.

PETA protests the coyote’s relocation and files a $5 million lawsuit against the state.

Texas

The governor of Texas is jogging with his dog along a nature trail. A coyote jumps out and attacks his dog.

The governor shoots the coyote with his state issued pistol and keeps jogging.

The governor has spent $0.50 on a .45 ACP hollow point cartridge. The buzzards eat the dead coyote.

Me, I'm going to install cabinets at the bank today, then break off early to go southwest an hour and a half to watch #2 GS play ball. Still in Kansas, but not by far. Within 1/4 mile of Oklahoma and 1/2 mile from Colorado.

Tommy, I only carry a .380 when I'm running. A .45 weighs too much. I guess I'd spend a whole dollar in ammo, but the coyote (or thug) would still be dead.

Warmed up today. 20 yesterday, 41 today. Along with rising temps we have rising gas prices. Must be the snow on the east coast.... yeah, right. Whatever excuse suits them that week.

Got my new scanner in the mail, autel md802. Connected to the Honda no problem and seems to work well. I'm pleased.

I got the cabinets all installed by about 1:15pm. Came home and unloaded and put all the tools away. By then, it was time to get in the Caddy and head southwest. Got to the school about 15 minutes before game time. They looked pretty sorry. Made it home in an hour and 20 minutes.

IT made it to almost 90 here today, freaking hot. Was still 59 when we came down main street.

Time for bed guys.
