Good Morning CGs!

I'm up and at 'em. Feeling better, about 90%. Still not completely over this virus/flu/infection I managed to get stuck with. I can tell you that dayquil/nyquil is about the most disgusting medicine in the history of medicine...but it seems to work ok.

All of this warm weather lately has put me in the "spring car" mood. I want to take the beast out and fix the few little things that were wrong before I put it away...starter, antenna, and motor mounts. But I know it'll get cold again in a week and I don't want it sitting in my garage right now. I'll let it sleep for another month or so.

What is everyone up to today?

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Morning guys....Up and ready to head to the 'city' for my dr appointment, no ranting today. Then back home to work on some cabinets. Looks like one more nice day before winter comes back by this time tomorrow.

I hope everyone out there has a great day.

Hidey-ho! The end of "summer" is nigh - gonna rain tonight and then switch to snow. The weather geniuses are predicting somewhere between 2-14 inches tomorrow. They have that dialed right in :-P

Have a good day, Gurus - get better, Matt!

THEY ENDED WHEN THIRD PARTY PAYMENT MADE DOCTORS WEALTHY.

SUNNY AND 62N DEGREES IN THE NATIONS, LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER TOP-DOWN DAY IN THE OFFING. THE CHEROKEES ARE GRINNING.
AND IN COURT:

ATTORNEY: Doctor , how many of your autopsies have you performed on dead people?
WITNESS: All of them. The live ones put up too much of a fight.

I remember house calls when I was a kid......unbelievable that a Doc would get up in the middle of the night and come to your house to give you a shot.......now you have to schedule 6 months in advance so you don't interrupt their golf game.....

Today I must go unload a semi.....in fact he just called to tell me he was on time.....amazing.....then I have an interview with a college kid I want to hire for help with the summer work around here. Then....the wood floor guy is coming over to measure for the rest of the floor we are putting in.....master bedroom, library, and steps to the upstairs.....that's it....my whole day....

It is cold and windy out right now....such a change in 24 hrs.........

Have an interesting day Guru's.....

Wellness mojo, Matt!
Brad, SNOW???? Geez, I couldn't handle that where you are.
It's a beautiful summer 76 and just plain tropical nice day here today. And yesterday and the day before, and the day after. However, Saturday when I'm off work? Yep, you guessed it. Winter. Figures. Had a long list of junk I wanted to get out and do. Not happening. Everything for a reason, three more boxes to unpack inside the house and a spare bedroom to put together.
Headed to the dentist tomorrow, getting a 'bridge' thingie up front. Have one tooth that was broken years ago, tried to bite open a bag of wipes and rebroke it. It's not in good shape. He promises I wont' be able to tell the difference and said it will hold for 10 years, we'll look at implant or something in the future but this will get me by for a while.
In other news.....
http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/ ... c=arb_fb_d&mag=roa&dom=fb

y'all might have already seen that...
Say it ain't so - that's ugly as heck with that long Buick back end and that mashed up front looks like mine did when I rear ended someone.

Guess what? We had a doctor visit us at the house today. They are client/friend/service providers. He and his wife, also a doctor, stopped by to look at Sue's neck on the way home. He wants to order an MRI and go from there. That was nice of them to do that.

Ok, I am scheduled for hernia surgery next month. I put it off for a month as I am in the middle of three small cabinet jobs, and I will be limited to lifting 15# for three weeks after the surgery. I felt pretty comfortable with the dr., even if he did seem to be in a hurry. I think they accommodated me as there was NO other patients in the place while I was there. Waiting until late March should allow me to finish up these three jobs. Then off to have x-rays to compliment the MRI I had Tuesday. Tomorrow I see the back Dr. I'm also going to head even further east to look at a job for a couple who are both former students and she was neighbor and good friend of our daughters. I told them I'd come over to see what we could do.

When I got home I went out to the shop and started working cutting parts for doors for those three jobs I have going. At 3:45 #2 GS shows up to help me. We get all the parts cut and shaped, then stain the face frames. At 6:15 we walk out of the shop to a really rude awakening...the wind is howling from the north and it has turned COLD. I guess in a 30 minute span the temp dropped 24 degrees.

Comes with the turf. Looks like you might have to act like you're retired for a couple of months.
