It's cloudy and going to be cooler today, more 'normal-like' temps. This afternoon, Rosie and I, are going to my late brothers, MILs wake service. She passed away last week. Poor SIL has had her plate full this year already.

I'm going back this morning to fit the shower doors and maybe cut a few things on the CNC. Tomorrow is the hernia repair surgery. I'm NPO after midnight, until surgery time, which is set for 1:30pm tomorrow. That's a long time for a regular eater like me.

I need to get going guys, have a great day.

Good Morning CGs!

I've been MIA for a couple of days.

Brad, happy belated birthday!

TB, the side skirts look good. It is hard to drill into your car, but sometimes the benefits are worth it. When I had to drill into my buddy's brand new M3 he was a little squeamish, too.

We were without water yesterday because the main in front of the house broke (actually about 4 houses down). They repaired it pretty quickly.

Last night my Matco dealer stopped at my house...maybe I have a problem...haha. Worked out a trade deal for some stuff I had and walked away with some new stuff.

Plan on running some errands today. Sun seems to be coming out, so I hope it warms up a bit.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

Greetings! Sunny and cooler here today, which is better than cloudy and cooler, I guess. Enough with the cooler, already!

Mojo for your SIL, and your impending surgery, Tom.

Meanwhile, of course they didn't tell us about this until winter was over:

Have a good day, all!

COOLER, HAD A BRIEF THUNDER SHOWER THIS MORNING, JUST ENOUGH TO LAY THE DUST.

ANOTHER MISERABLE NIGHT WITH THE SINUSES; HAD TO RESORT TO SOME OF DARLING WIFE'S LEFT-OVER PAIN PILLS, ASPIRIN COULDN'T CUT IT.

GOOD LUCK WITH THE SURGERY, TEE.

May all go well with your surgery, tee. By 01:30 the surgeon should be all warmed up. In a month or two you can get back into some heavy lifting.

Worked a full day today for the company installing gutters. Sue asked if I'd do it for her. I could have said no. Something tells me that would not have been a wise decision. A mason is extending a brick walkway in the back yard and adding a new one to my neighbors gate. Soon will be a patio brick deck out at the office/shed. Plenty of work lined up. Chipping away at it as I can.

Side story. A guy I worked with back in the 80's was killed Friday night when a car ran into the back of the car he was driving on the way home from work. 52 years in the U.S Postal Service and in his 70's. Never drew even a day's retirement money. He was #1 on the Miami seniority list. I always said that if I died before I retired I was coming back to haunt everyone. By the way, you max out on how much money you get monthly percentage wise at 42 years.

The #1 woman in Miami that worked for the USPS kept working into her 80's til she was escorted out for failing health. She lived a short while in a high end senior center. What makes it strange is she was a millionaire. I knew and worked with her too. Sue and I went to dinner with her and her friends several times. Some people live to work. Others work to live. Guess what category I fall in.?
