I'm up and around at the normal time as Rosie went to work this morning. Belly still itches some, but the healing process is coming along pretty well...well, it ain't pretty, but it is healing.

Did some computer work yesterday and going to try and get some done today. I got things in the shop to do but, most of it would require lifting more than the 15# limit I have imposed on me. So. I'll just do something else.

It is rainy here, and that is no complaint we need it sooooo bad. Supposed to rain off and on for the next several days. Whatever we get we will be thankful for.

I guess I'd better get to that computer work I have. I trust you, all, have a great guru day.

Howdy! I went back to bed this morning - rather than continuing to improve, I entered a new phase of this malady last night, which resulted in getting just about no sleep. Don't come near me unless you are wearing a hazmat suit.

Have a delightful day, Gurus!

Brad, you may be suffering from Mexican withdrawal syndrome. Try a stiff Margarita and breakfast burrito with hot sauce.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Gloomy again today. And it seems to have gotten colder in the afternoon as opposed to warmer.

RR#1 is sick again. I actually had her at the urgent clinic last night at 7 pm because the symptoms mimicked appendicitis. Luckily not that, but she was up at 3 am vomiting. Great. Hope she's feeling a little better by the time I get home.

Not sure if I mentioned it but I ordered a new antenna mast yesterday. Time to start the spring projects.

Hope everyone has a great day!

I've had a set back. Thought I was just about over the hump, in regards to the constipation associated with the surgery/drugs. Had a BM this morning that was more "normal" and thought, OK that was it. About 40 minutes later cramping starts to occur...OK, back to the bathroom...nothing. And the pain increases dramatically. Bad enough I call Rosie at work (remember she's a RN), she says, "Did you call the doctor?", No, should I? "Yes and tell them about what you've done."

So, I call, and by this time, I'm nearly in tears. The receptionist takes a message and tells me there are no available appointments, she'll let one of the nurses know. About 10 minutes later the nurse calls she says they can see me this afternoon, will that work?... I guess if that is my only choice (at this point I'm thinking a trip to the ER is in order if I can't get in), then she asks if I would mind seeing his PA. No, I have every confidence in her. (former student). She comes back and says, come up right now. So I call Rosie and she sends #2 as she is helping at the office with her today.

She picks me up, takes me up there, and drops me off. Within a few minutes I'm in the exam room and the nurse is asking questions, taking vital signs. Once she has taken my BP I can tell something isn't right and ask her what it was, and all she says is it's 'pretty high'. Pa comes in and I go over everything again and she tells me they are really concerned about the BP. She then listens to my stomach and says she wants to have some blood work and x-rays done. she asks if I've had any pain meds. I tell her no, I didn't want to mask any of the symptoms, so she gives me a Percocet and sends me down to lab.

Thank goodness Percocet works quickly. By the time they are taking my blood and doing the x-rays I'm feeling pretty good. While waiting, I text Rosie and tell her what's going on. She says, you want me to come up there? "If you want." Then I head back to the exam room. Did I say, Percocet makes you feel good? Well I'm waiting in the exam room for them to get the results from the tests/x-rays. The nurse comes back in and takes my BP again, I ask her if it is better and she says yes it is a bit better, 196/88. At that point I know it must have been really high before. PA comes in and says they have ruled out infection/problems from the surgery (which is really good) but says I'm "backed up a lot" and that what's happening is, it is just stuck and needs to move. She also says they are putting me on BP medicine.

So I'm home, the Percocet has worn off and the discomfort is returning. Rosie has been home checking my BP and I took my first BP med. Now if I can just get that sh!t moved through.

The other thing that HAS been good today is, it is raining. Thank the lord for that.

The world's a mighty big place to find your way in. I care but I got conflicts. None of my past is perfect but there's a God that loves me anyway. My brakes are worn out on my attitude and the filter's clogged on my mouth. If you don't like me, don't look - I ain't got time for it.

healing and get well mojo for the kiddo, Matt. Sorry you're having issues Tee, hope things start to improve for you. There's tons of jokes in there with this one, you know that, right?
Weather has been great here, then it stormed like hell with hail and winds. Today, back to normal and beatiful. I plan on taking the afternoon off tomorrow to just sit on my butt and stare at the back yard. Nothing else. Got the cousin's things moved to a storage unit Saturday, I'll make a final walk through this weekend and then see about getting it listed. Have a claw foot tub to get out of there and that's about it. So ready to be done with the headache of it all. Happy day ya'll

Tom I just saw and ad on TV last night for some meds for opoid induced constipation.......or is that opiod... Funny how the ads have changed thru the years as it follows the Boomers thru their lives......

What happened to the Pepsi Generation ads or the Clearasil adds? you never saw any med ads on TV unless it was aspirin or carters little liver pills.......
