We are up and ready to go to church. News fdrom home is, it is still snowing. I haven't seen any pictures, but reports are that the whole town is out of power. here it's still raining, lots of lightening and thunder.

Greetings! Looks kinda gloomy out there, and we're stuck with 40's for a couple days. But they aren't using the "s" word, at least for now. I'll be headed to play indoor golf in a bit.

Raining and windy and 37 degrees here......its miserable.....I'm going back to bed......screw it.......the snow line is about 50 miles west of us.... but its pouring here......

A CLOUDY AND WET MORNING, RAIN OVER FOR THE TIME BEING. SIX INCHES HERE, MORE IN TAHLEQUAH. LOTS OF HIGH WATER, ROADS OUT HOMES FLOODED, ESPECIALLY ALONG THE ILLINOIS RIVER. LOWER END OF OUR DRIVEWAY WASHED OUT BADLY, I'LL HAVE TO FINESSE THE CORVETTES OUT UNTIL I GET SOMEONE WITH A BLADE TO DRESS IT UP.

GUNSHOW TODAY IN TAHLEQUAH, IF THE FAIRGROUNDS ARE NOT UNDER WATER. THE GATE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN GOOD YESTERDAY, MAYBE THEY WILL BE EAGER TO SELL TODAY :-)

Well, back from church, it's still cool and supposed to stay that way. Rain has stopped, mostly, but still very damp out there. reports from home say another 6-8" last night and the winds have been 30-50mph, so the combination has brought down even more trees, resulting in taking power lines down as well. The reason for all the power outages. I am hoping there will be enough of a warm up by tomorrow for us to make it home without issue. Supposed to make it up into the upper 40s....we'll see.

Just got a call from my neighbor, he says the snow in his back yard is knee deep. So, that's about 16-18" of the white stuff. he also said that the electricity went out about 11:30 last night. Lines are down in the alley too. Might be a long recovery.

75-80 today. Great weather. My son is attempting to buy his first house today. He is 30. Married for the third time.
times are drifting from the real world.

wow....it has rained all day......and the wind up to 50 mph gusts at times.....we attended church at St. Mattress today literally as we watched a live stream from services at our church while being all cozy under the down comforter.... I'm like why don't we attend every Sunday like this.....? Uwoman just shook her head and no was all she said......

its a lazy day here......

59 DEGREES, DAMP, AND WINDY NOT A COMFORTABLE DAY AT ALL. COULDN'T GET A REASONABLE PRICE ON THE ONLY THING I WANTED AT THE GUNSHOW. ONE OF THE NEIGHBORS WITH A FRONT LOADER CAME BY AND WORKED THE ROAD JUNCTION AND MY DRIVEWAY A BIT.
THIS IS A NICE PLACE TO LIVE.

I guess it has been hovering at the freezing mark. They say the snow has turned to rain and the temps are on the rise. Upper 30s now and expecting them to stay or warm some overnight. #2 and boys are at a house where her BF lives, he had a generator and has it going.

Daughter has been by the house to check on it. Said we actually looked like we didn't have any limbs or branches down and the house looked good. We may stay away for another day and go home on Tuesday now.
