It was HOT yesterday....and going to be just as HOT today. Officially, it was 101, my thermometer said 104 at one point. I completely finished the building of the counter tops. They will come get them tomorrow and they will install them.

I have a couple things to do while I wait for cabinet materials for a complete kitchen. I may go ahead and get the materials for Marcus's project, so I can get going on that as soon as possible.

The gal that gave me all the lumber when her husband died, is having an auction today getting rid of a lot of his stuff. I don't NEED any of it, but I'm going out to the auction to see what things sell for....and if it's a good deal I may purchase something.

Hidey-ho! We were awakened several times by my wife's cell phone declaring loudly, "A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for your location!" Whatever happened to the good old days when I kept my cell phone in glove compartment in case I needed to call someone? I will be issuing a severe nap alert later.

Stay dry, Gurus!

WE HAVEN'T EVEN HIT 90 YET, HARD TO BELIEVE YOU ARE SO MUCH HOTTER UP NORTH.

SUNNY AND MILD THIS MORNING, A LITTLE STICKY OUTSIDE. NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY, THE OBSTACLE COURSE IS MOWED. I COULD WEED-EAT I GUESS, IF I WERE FEELING MASOCHISTIC ;-)

Well, I'm back fromt the auction. Didn't find anything I couldn't live without and got tired of sitting there waiting on a couple things I might have been interested in.

95 at noon and just keeps going up...along with the wind. Don't want to be outside today.

THEY'RE ALIVE AND WELL IN OKLAHOMA. MINE STAYS IN WHATEVER CAR I'M DRIVING, IN THE "POSSIBLES BAG" ALONG WITH A SMALL FLASHLIGHT, KNIFE, SCREWDRIVER SET, AND SPARE MAGAZINES. I TURN IT ON IF I WANT TO CALL SOMEBODY.

DID SOME WEED-EATING AND REWARDED MYSELF WITH A COLD ST. PAULI LIGHT. STICK & CARROT :-)

I hate to say it Marcus (but I will anyway) ... Once you modify a car it seems like a never ending chain of events starts. The car that gives me the most issues is the 91. That one that is modded throughout. Speaking of mods, I wonder what Andy has been up to with his new to him Corvette.

Good Evening CGs!

Spent all day out in the sun at the water park. Despite applying sunblock several times, my normally pasty complexion has a slightly redder hue. Go figure.

Sorry about the Gremlins Marcus. Usually I go back to the last work done....perhaps that fancy meth setup is drawing power.

Hope everyone had a great day!

I feel pretty fortunate - our storm damage consisted of a chair that tipped over on our deck. These folks up on the north end of the cities got hit hard. I even saw that they had snowplows out clearing hail in some areas:

I hate to hear you say it tommy.......this was a set of headers and some meth injection and a mild tune...... I hear what you are saying but I think the battery went bad.....I checked it today and it said it was dead....so I plugged it in and about 20 minutes later the charger says its pumped up......I read the battery and it says it isn't and the car still won't start......this is the battery that has been drained dead twice and I keep trying to save it........I will put in a new one tomorrow and let you know what is up.....

Goodnight everybody......

Went over to the 'city' to do our grocery shopping, and I picked up some more pieces for the awning, "to make an improvement to it". Thermometer said 106 at one point in the pickup on the way home.
