4 more days of work till we take off. I'm on schedule for departure. Clean around the house today. I want to work on the cars one day and cut the grass at the house and the nursery before we go. I'm pretty well packed. The phone hasn't been ringing too much so I've actually been able to get a few things done. A cruise is just a perfect way to turn it all off. Except for Sue of course. She doesn't have an off button.

Upon viewing the vehicle it becomes apparent that safety was a high concern with this company. (See the way the front bumper is supported?)

Morning guys.... It's warm already, 72, and headed for near 100 again today. We've had three days in a row where we were over 100 and 25-40 mph winds to boot. Felt more like a blast furnace, pretty typical for us this time of year.

I'm installing a cabinet today over in the 'city'. And a computer as well....same client. It's our retired priest who was with us for 15 years. We've, kind of, become pretty good friends over the years. I do most of the work for free for him, he just pays for materials. He's a good guy.

Tommy, was that cartoon of you and Sue? I can see where that street sweeper is #1 quality.

Greetings! The sun is shining for now, hopefully it will hold up for golf. Rain is on the way later - how much later is the issue.

Have a good day, all!

The other day I had the passing thought on the property neighboring the nursery. Sue has asked repeatedly if the new owner wanted to sell it. She was repeatedly told: "No, the owner wants to keep it and maybe build a house on it.". She got a call that the owner might be interested in selling it. Sue made an offer. Looking for a contract now in my emails that will forward right out to our real estate attorney for screening. Our attorney can process the whole deal from start to finish. Let's see how everything unfolds. Anyway, after I had the thought the other day I said to myself "If it's meant to be, it will be." as I often say to myself when I want something. It doesn't mean I always get it. Some things just aren't meant to be.

That is definitely a different kind of pole vaulting.

Meanwhile, that is quite a stable Marcus is putting together!

Well, back from the 'city' and installing the cabinet, setting up the computer. Picked up some samples of plastic laminate, dropped them off and the client there has already picked which ones they want. So now I'm trying to find those materials and get them coming here.

Evening Gurus!

It was hot here. Appliance repair guy was out to fix the fridge. Wasn't making ice. Needed a new ice maker portion of the freezer. Luckily it was under extended warranty. Price without....about $430. Ouch.
