We had a great cruise. Grand Cayman, Roatan, Honduras, Belize City and Cozumel. 7 days is just about the right time away. Spent time doing sightseeing and excursions, eating plenty, hot tub time and of course, the casino. I came home $50 under budget. Sue brought home and extra $800. We both got 2 free seats each to the 3 card poker tournament in October by getting 2 full houses. Each tourney ticket has a $500 buy in value. Also a discounted cruise to attend the tournament. Sue also won a $50 raffle and $250 raffle. My name was never called and I didn't win a damned thing. I played 9 hours at the card table Friday and left the table with what I started with. (Some consider that winning). I coaxed a couple of hundred out of a slot machine and that gave me money to play poker. Knew many of the casino staff members from some of the other cruises we've taken. One was the Casino manager. We were showered with gifts delivered to our cabin, like chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of champagne, cookies, a dinner at the steak house and a number of other player club gifts. Also drinks for free from the opening of the casino to close. We don't drink booze so it was water, sodas, N/A beer and smoothies. What's not to like? ..........

Sounds like you had a great trip Tommy, love the photos! I want to be there! And never come back.
Tom did you enjoy the trip to Rogers? That's about 4 hours from here. We keep trying to plan things but work gets in the way. This time it's my fault. Have a book layout next weekend to do when he has the holiday off so I'm ruining a 5-day weekend for us. But, he says he'll use it as an excuse to work too and make some extra cash.
Marcus - yes, old car ads, some of these things go back to the way early years. We need to sell these as a lot to someone, we have not the time nor desire to sell them one at at a time at a show or a meet. They're mostly mounted in plastic sleeves with foam board separated by make in boxes, each box doesn't weight much but then there's some boxes that have folders of the ads and since they aren't sleeved with foam and have more ads, they weight a lot more.
There's a few. These things go back to about when cars were made I think they're freakin old some of them. Did have time life and pop mechanics and what not from the 30's but couldn't give them away so someone finally came got them all for their burn pile. I hated to see that

Those pictures are pretty amazing, Tommy. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. We'd like to take a cruise one day (me more than the wife). Maybe a Disney cruise before the kids get too old. Otherwise we will have to postpone it for a while.

BIL told me he needs brake pads on the F150. Those arrived yesterday and I'll get them on Wednesday. Cost $55 shipped to my house for front and rear. Just fronts at advance auto were $54+tax. I can wait the extra day or two.

Weather has been nice here. Sunny and a little cooler in the 70s.

Hope everyone has a great day!

No just quieter

I only shop for deals. I got those for 1/3 of truck price and I already sold my duplicate set of mid-length and the ratchet and extensions are listed for sale.

I'll be ok

Greetings! I was up at the crack of 9, so I'll be taking a nap at some point to make up for it. Kinda drizzly and dreary - a forecast of 66, breezy and rainy is not very summer-like. Meanwhile, there are about 12,000 street rods in town, but I haven't seen many of them out and about.

Great pics, Tommy - looks like you had a good time! I'm usually ready to come home after a week, too. It is nice to know a lot of the staff - that's part of the reason we go back to the same resort. They treat us like family, except without the bickering.

That is quite an impressive collection, Letty - I'm sure someone would snap that up on eBay.

Trucks are looking good, Marcus - and you should have an old hauler like that cool one.

Have a good day, all!

not a freakin clue

He wants rid of them...

He retired Dec. 31 and we've been clearing up and clearing out around there and a the back shop is now the 'yard sale pile' spot and those are in the pile. He wants them all gone at one time. I'll ask what he has in mind, shipping might be a PITA but might could arrange some kind of halfway point pickup if someone is interested. Some had been pre-priced by the dude he got them from (now deceased). Don (my friend who now has them that I work for) has no interest in messing with them other than to get rid of them as an entire lot to someone. I'll be there tomorrow, text me or something and remind me to ask I"m sure with whatever he has me in the middle of I'll forget lol
