Going to be hot again today.
Being gone for a week, seems like all I've done is put out fires I missed while gone. I hope to be able to actually do some of the things I planned to get done. I have lots to do in the shop. The sheetrock guy will finish in the kitchen remodel tonight and I'll start hanging cabinets tomorrow. Better get to it. |

Howdy! Pea soup fog this morning. I was gonna drive the Vette as it is supposed to clear up later, but decided to wait until tomorrow. It has felt quite tropical here of late.

JULY CONTINUES AS ADVERTISED. TRYING TO MOTIVATE MYSELF TO WEED-EAT, NOT HAVING MUCH LUCK. GOT TWO OUT OF THREE UP AND RUNNING AGAIN, BUMBLE BEE STILL DEADLINED FOR PARTS. '96'S HAVE TOO MANY ONE YEAR ONLY PARTS. |

I remember when I was a kid, we didn't have a McDonald's in our town, but it was a treat when I got to go with my older sister to one in Duluth. I think the price for a burger had crept up to 19 cents by then. I still like their regular burger, nothing fancy. And the fries, of course. |

When I was 11-13 my baseball team was sponsored by the local McDonalds. They bought us nice uniforms and after every game we could go to the golden arches and get a hamburger, fries and a soda, free...if I remember correctly, that was a 39 cent value.
