Happy Friday! There must be a disturbance in the force, or else the morons took the day off. My commute was about as aggravation-free as it has ever been - a pleasant surprise. Meanwhile, more downpours coming later today - my sprinkler system hasn't seen much action lately.

Have a good day, yawlz!

I'm tired this morning . slept right to the time the alarm went off. supposed to be hot again, 101. I got about half the upper cabinets put in yesterday. By myself and didn't even put the first one up until after 2. Felt pretty good about the progress. Hopefully (fingers crossed) that I will get the rest of them installed today. Under cabinet lighting will go in today as well.

Stay cool out there folks, we don't want anyone having heat-stroke.

SUMMER. YESTERDAY WAS THE FIRST 100 DEGREE DAY IN TULSA THIS YEAR, THAT'S QUITE A BIT LATER IN THE YEAR THAN IT USED TO BE.

THE PROBLEM WITH SUMMER HERE IS HUMIDITY AND NO WIND. DID ABOUT HALF THE WEED-EATING YESTERDAY MORNING AND CAME IN THE HOUSE SOAKING WET. I NEED A SUMMER HOME WEST OF I-35 :-)

TOMMY, I HOPE SUE'S TESTS CAME BACK OK.

I've learned over the decades not to worry about medical stuff till you know something for sure. (and that's never) Doctors get stuff wrong too. Sue has had over 80 medical procedures so I'm kind of numb to everything.

In Florida news. In 10 years or so I should be about ready for this.

Indeed! Charlie Chaplin once came in 3rd in a Charlie Chaplin look-alike contest.

Meanwhile, here's one way to keep cool:

Hot as Hades here today. Humid, too. As I type it's about to start another nasty thunderstorm. Just what we need....

Got home a little late today. No energy or desire to work on the car.

Wife took the kids on a weekend getaway with some other family members...I'm a bachelor for a day or two. Too bad work gets in the way of fun.

Need more gray. I think it is political as well. They have cliques. Basically no one wins their first time out. After losing for several years, the powers that be will decide if you are worthy of victory. Most of the guys there have been doing it for years. I don't click well with cliques.
