Spent all day yesterday power washing the vinyl siding.....when you get done it looks like a new paint job......very nice!

ANOTHER STICKY MORNING IN THE NATIONS---
DID SOMEBODY SAY SOMETHING ABOUT AN ECLIPSE? DOES THAT MEAN I CAN MOW IN THE SHADE? SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA TO ME.

Have to load and make a delivery as soon as I get motivated. Sue has a job that will last all week. My body aches but it's hard to tell if it's the normal aches or the aftermath of Saturdays fleet-a-thon. I started the boat a few days ago and went through the preliminary maintenance items. Pulled about a gallon of water from the bottom of the gas tank. She's back to 99% good fuel now. Needs a good detailing and loosen up the steering a little with lubricants. Looking to drop it in the water in September. I don't pay near enough attention to the boat anymore. The cars either for that matter but parting with any of them is not high on my priority list. Need to get a few things done but parting with dollars is not high on my priority list either. They'll get done though, soon enough. I could start with doing the jobs I already bought the parts for and are stored here at the house.

Howdy! I'm in meeting hell, booked solid right through lunch. In fact, the eclipse will be eclipsed by a meeting. I'm sure it will be in all the newspapers.

Have a good day, all.

Good Afternoon CGs!

Day off and did some errands and running around. Just scored a good deal on a new set of striking prybars. Craftsman Pro (Mayhew) 3 piece...regular $52, on sale for $40, plus another $10 coupon...$33 after tax. Not bad. I can pick them up later.

Bought a set of wrenches on Thursday from a guy on CL. Already sold them on eBay in a day and double my money. So I guess the prybars are free.

Gris - you were complaining about wedding costs...you'd shit a brick if you saw my wedding bill. That was 11 years ago. BILs wedding next month will be about 75% more. No joke.

Tommy - properties get all squared away?

Hope everyone has a great day!

GOT THE OBSTICLE COURSE MOWED, THAT ECLIPSE SURE DIDN'T PROVIDE MUCH SHADE!

MATT, I DID WELL IN THE WEDDING BUSINESS WITH BOTH MY GIRLS. GOOD LUCK, EARLY TRAINING, AND DARLING WIFE'S PENNY-PINCHING HABITS KEPT THE COST LOW, LOCAL CHURCH WEDDINGS AND RECEPTIONS AT HOME. I FURNISHED THE BAR FOR THE RECEPTIONS AND TOOK CARE OF ALL THE LEFTOVERS. (THE FOOD OF COURSE, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING---;-)

EXCITEMENT AM GRISHEIM!

SHREKS, SCREAMS, BUMPS, THUMPS. BRAVECAT BROUGHT A LIVE, NEARLY GROWN COTTONTAIL IN THE HOUSE WHICH PROMPTLY ESCAPED IN THE COMMOTION CAUSED BY DARLING WIFE. I FINALLY HERDED HIM OUT THE DOOR. THE CAT WAS PISSED. :-0

Hey guys. Not a great day here. My brother passed away mid morning. Oldest son called to let me know. He was pretty broken up...put on a great front though. Don'tknow anything yet about services........

I was at school (finishing up the sharpening of the planer) when the eclipse started. Took the welding helmets #12 lenses and watched it off and on until it started to get bigger. The day though, won't be remembered for the eclipse....have a wonderful evening.

Tom, I know in your heart that you are at peace. Another's health is beyond our control. Your brother stayed as long as he felt that he could. May you share your strength with his family and offer them comforting support. I extend my sympathy to you and the family.
