Morning guys....

A little slow getting around this morning. I didn't really want to get up, but I did. It's cool out there (upper 50s) and headed for mid 80s. Not bad for August here.

Still treading water on the cabinet job. So, I'll find something to do.

Greetings! It was pleasant out for golf last night, but unseasonably cool. And we were last off, so we almost needed miner's helmets on the last 2 holes. The golf itself was extremely mediocre. Last rain-free day today for a while, so I dusted off the Vette this morning. Before I know it, it'll be time to put it into hibernation.

Brad you should not have had a problem finding your golf ball.....you just have to hit it down the middle of the short grass area every time....easy....

I am slow out of the starting gate myself today......way to much work for an old guy like me....... then I get home and have to keep washing the vinyl siding on the house...... all work and no play makes me a dull boy......

I did not think political correctness could get much worse but I was very wrong...... wow......

Today was appointment #7 for the ice maker. Guy showed up within the appointment window. This guy was actually really knowledgeable and knew his stuff. Got the new heater/line installed. We chatted for a bit and he was a really nice guy, too.

Time to pick up the rugrats pretty soon then we need to hit the store and grab a few ingredients for dinner.

Disallowing an Asian to broadcast a Virginia game solely based on his name is akin to disallowing a black person to sit at the front of the bus based on their skin color IMHO. I smell a lawsuit. This mess has gotten way way outta hand.
Beautiful weather here - I"m appreciative of the slight cool down since I'm having to be in the garage and not the pool. Cousin at nursing home decided she doesn't want to go through her own stuff now as planned and told me to 'just get it done'. Thanks. Like I need more crap to do. The last thing I need is my garage to become her hoarder space. Pretty crappy of her to do that to me, if you ask me. I'd just gotten it all cleaned out and started looking at floor covering tiles and stuff and paint for the walls.
The first time I hear her gripe about something missing....

Whoo-hoo! Property deal is closed. Signed, sealed, delivered. I'll try to get before pics tomorrow. 1 1/4 acre right next door to the 1 acre corner nursery. 10 years of trying to get it finally paid off.

NICE HERE ALSO LETTY, 82, LOW HUMIDITY, A LITTLE BREEZE. BEEN SITING ON THE FRONT PORCH WITH A CUP OF COFFEE, WATCHING THE AERIAL COMBAT AROUND THE HUMMINGBIRD FEEDER. AGGRESSIVE LITTLE DEVILS :-)

PICKED UP TWO SEMI-WILD KITTENS FOR APPRENTICE BARN CATS, TOOK THEM OVER TO THE VET CLINIC FOR #1 DAUGHTER TO DO THE REQUISITE MODIFICATIONS. MAYBE IF THEY GROW UP IN THE BARN THEY WILL STAY AROUND AND DEFEND THEIR TERRITORY FROM RODENTS.
