Morning gang.

Going to work early today. Have concert tonight.

It's nice and cool this morning, the first day of school for our locals. Darn I miss that........no I don't.

Still waiting on materials, so I've been doing some computer work. A little more today. I got the shop pretty cleaned up and my storage shed cleaned up a bit as well.

Rain in the forecast but it has been the forecast all week. Not near as bad as they predicted but that could be about to change. We may get some heavy downpours over the next few days. The clouds are suggesting that. I have plenty of work to do as we whip the new to us property into shape. Saw a snake over at a small pond there. I just hope it's not a water moccasin and just another harmless black snake. All snakes used to give me the he-be jeebees. Now it's just the poisonous ones. We have trapped several good sized Tegu lizards recently. The other day a possum got in the trap. It was relatively calm and I told Sue, "Just let him go." He was just giving us a possum smile. lol Rats,snakes crocs, gators, bears, big cats (cougars) and big or poisonous insects used to scare the $#!+ out of me but Florida desensitized me. I learned a lot about raccoons as well. Ahhh, the country life.

Greetings! I was informed this morning that I did not win the Powerball, so I'm at work. *sigh*

I'd like to buy up the acre next to me and the one behind me. That would rid me of some noisy kids and a few trees that bother me. But alas, there's homes on them still and folks living there ...
Nice day to be outside today, I'd give anything to be that Powerball winner and be where I could enjoy the outdoors right now. Not sure why we Arkansans continue to buy tickets other than funding it for the yankees to win it all. No one from here ever wins. Ever. Made more progress in the garage last night. Got all the furniture up to the attic by myself, as my help decided to work a side job and not tell me. Came home at 9:30 after I was already done. Separated the keep and sell. I now have a spacious place to park again. Once I haul off the yard sale crap I'll have my garage back almost. I remember whining about being so bored I'd cry and bang my head against the wall. Now the opposite. What happened?
The bus from the high school is here today the wrapping is to commence. We have it in the bay across the street, it barely fits.. He's gonna have a ton of fun with that thing. At least it's not 100 degrees while he'll be doing it

I got the powerball number. Whoo-hoo! Missed the first 5 but I got the 4. Should be good for 8 or 9 bucks.
