ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL MORNING IN THE NATIONS, COOL, SUNNY, CALM, AND DRY. THE GRASS HAS STOPPED GROWING. WHOO WHOO!

SOUNDS LIKE "IRMA" DIDN'T LIVE UP TO THE MEDIA HYPE, BUT SHE SURE PUT A LOT OF PEOPLE IN THE DARK. I FEEL CONFIDENT ABOUT TOMMY, WE SHOULD BE HEARING FROM HIM SOON.

IT'S ALMOST 0800 AND NOBODY'S AWAKE BUT ME AND THE CAT---

Howdy! Looks like this would've been a great week to take off - more August-like weather, 80's and sunny. Last night I saw that the blob over Florida was less colorful right over Tommy's neck of the woods, hope that is a good sign. I imagine it just meant varying degrees of suck, though. That storm was enormous.

Have a good day, GUrus!

Morning guys... I slept in because it was cool and dark. I have a 8:44 tee time this morning.

I am a little relieved about Tommy. I hope and pray that he made it through relatively unscathed. Anxious to hear from him.

I have another friend in the Tampa area, we've heard from him this morning and, he too, came through reasonably well. These are good news to hear.

Have a great day.

Wow 9/11...... I remember clearly that whole day...... it changed us forever.....

Up and enjoying some coffee from our new coffee machine....It's a Jura machine and came highly recommended by our resident coffee expert Tee Bee........ who know right?

We found a nice refurbished one......think Certified Pre Owned cars...... except its pre owned certified coffee machines...... wow...... anyway I should not say we and should say she...... this wedding had some pork attached to it come to find out...... I opened the silverware drawer and there is all new silverware...... I look up and see a Jura coffee machine.... and who knows what next....... I was going to say something then I thought just move on nothing to see here...... I have wisdom.......

Hope Tommy checks in soon....... have a nice day Guru's.....

Good Morning CGs!

I was glad to hear they downgraded the hurricane to a tropical storm. Still enough to be a nuisance but hopefully no significant damage. I did see the video shot by a news crew of people looting the foot locker during Irma. Classy.

No reason to get upset or even mention it, Marcus. Next time the wife complains about go fast goodies, you know what to do

Hope everyone has a great day!

Over 80% of the customers in Tom's area are without power, and I'd bet that connectivity is spotty. I'm sure he'll check in when he can.

I forget where I saw it but was a report of how many millions were without power in Tommy's area. I figure cell towers, you name it aren't working, no way to charge devices, etc. Hope he is able to check in soon. There's some thing on FB where people are finding a way to check themselves in as 'safe' so others can see that they're okay. Some of my friends have found that and marked themselves safe.
Weather has been really nice here but rain due tomorrow and lower temps. Geez, was just in the pool yesterday. Hoping to be in it again this weekend. Actually was hoping to run off to the lake or somewhere by myself. Tried to have a minute alone this past weekend and couldn't. Had a 3-hour block of time at the spa courtesy of a gift certificate and wouldn't you know right in the middle of it someone was blowing up my phone. Came home from nursing home yesterday and tried to sit outside and of course BF had crap he wanted me to help him to right then like it could not freaking wait. Was 3pm before I could rest and do what I wanted to do. Moving furniture was not on my list. *sigh* just one day, just one....
