STILL DARK IN THE NATIONS, I'M UP EARLY FOR A VA APPOINTMENT AT 0800 TO START WALLOWING THRU THE SYSTEM IN PURSUIT OF NEW HEARING AIDS. NOT MY FAVORITE ACTIVITY.

"AS I PASS THROUGH MY INCARNATIONS, IN EVERY AGE AND RACE,
I MAKE MY PROPER PROSTRATIONS THE THE GODS OF THE MARKET PLACE.
PEERING THROUGH REVERENT FINGERS, I WATCH THEM FLOURISH AND FALL,
AND THE GODS OF THE COPYBOOK HEADINGS, I NOTICE, OUT LAST THEM ALL.---"

Howdy! Looks like I won't have any problem finding something to do until leaving for golf this afternoon - have meetings booked all day. Ick. At least it isn't raining today.

Have a good one, yawlz!

Aye, me mateys. Though the yard arm has fallen the mast stands tall and awaits a gale to bring us to the treasures that await. Now bring me a grog.

Guess what day it is?

It's Vulcan hot and humid. Hope the A/C gets it repaired today. The parts were available so all I can do is work around the house and wait for the techs to return. Did I mention it's Vulcan hot and humid? Inside the house is even hotter. I broke out the suit cases. Sue said "We have so much work to do." I told her we have work for the rest of the year. It will be here when we get back. I wonder what ports we might go to since 3 out of 4 have been devastated or will be devastated by Maria.

I wondered what kind of God might bestow these trials and tribulations on the minions. Then I remembered if it wasn't for all we go through here we would be in Heaven ......... If your life is going great, just wait. It will change. Guaranteed.

WELL, THAT DIDN'T TAKE LONG, GOT MY EARPLUGS TUNED AND AN APPOINTMENT FOR NEW ONES IN MID NOVEMBER.

I HAD HOPED THAT I HAD FOUND A WAY TO CUT OUT SOME OF THE "MIDDLE MEN" AND IT SEEMS TO HAVE WORKED. NORMALLY YOU GET SHUFFLED THROUGH ASSORTED IRRELEVANT APPOINTMENTS SO EVERYBODY CAN TAKE A BODY COUNT ON YOU. BY HITTING THE HA REPAIR SHOP FIRST I SHORT CIRCUITED THAT DRILL.

Hey guys....got going right away this morning. All the cabinets are installed, several little things done at the job site. Then this afternoon, a call about a computer issue, fixed. Then back home to start on the counter tops. Made good progress on them too. Doors won't be here until next week. My butt is dragging tonight.
