The miracle of air conditioning has returned to the household. All new air handler components pretty much except for the cabinet. All parts were under warranty. I still had to pay labor, a product exchange fee, 4 pounds of freon, a special additive suggested by the manufacturer (liquid gold) and a couple of other related expenses. Pretty much I have a new air handler and still under warranty till 2023. It cost me what it might have cost to service, clean the core and recharge the system so really I came out ahead. Still cost $$$. The guy Sue contacted to move a used shed we bought is a dingle berry. All talk (Sometimes no talk. Won't answer his phone) and no action. Area has been cleared at the nursery and we are waiting for him and a crane to move it. Dogs escaping yard. have to find the hole. A few important things left as I've addressed most of the major $#!+ here at home. The nursery is a whole other issue. I'll be working everyday I'm not cruising for the rest of the year, I'm sure. I think I'm looking more and more like this guy as each day passes.

Greetings! Gloomy out, and it rained like crazy overnight. Not gonna bitch, though. Well I will, but it'll be about the 5 hours of meetings I have today. Ick.

Glad to hear the A/C is working again, Tommy - truly one of mankind's greatest inventions.

Have a good day, all!

IT'S A STICKY MORNING IN THE NATIONS, HUMIDITY BACK UP TO UNCOMFORTABLE LEVELS. HAD AN UNEXPLAINED 15 MINUTE POWER OUTAGE YESTERDAY EVENING; ONE OF THE UN-JOYS OF COUNTRY LIVING.

---"WE WERE LIVING IN TREES WHEN THEY MET US, THEY SHOWED US EACH IN TURN,
THAT WATER WOULD CERTAINLY WET US, AS FIRE WOULD CERTAINLY BURN,
BUT WE FOUND THEM LACKING IN UPLIFT, VISION AND BREADTH OF MIND,
SO WE LEFT THEM TO TEACH THE GORILLAS WHILE WE FOLLOWED THE MARCH OF MANKIND.---"

Glad your air is on......I can still remember summers in Kansas when we did not have AC.....when I was a kid........lots of fans though.......it was 63 or 64 when we got AC in the house........window unit...... like heaven it was....

AC was one of the greatest inventions ever......but does not surpass Beer......

Today I am doing just some stuff around here.......not much.....a body in motion tends to stay in motion.......a body at rest tends to stay at rest..... that's where I am right now.....at rest........soon to be jerked up and told to get with it by my bride......

Have a day of reflection Guru's.....

Glad the AC is on, Tommy. I could use some ac right now as I'm in the basement working out and sweating like a dog. Whew.

Another warm day here and the climate swings are killing my sinuses. I had a headache all day yesterday. Hopefully some Claritin will help today.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Hey guys...I started off early working on my CAD computer. It died over my vaca last week. I needed to do a couple drawings, so had to get it going. It's a hardware issue, so I pulled the second HDD, the one that has all my data and pulled out a computer that has WinXP (as my CAD program won't install on anything newer). I've had my issues trying to get everything back up and going.

I got most of the counter tops done today as well. Also got a call on another computer issue (fixed), cut a table top down for another guy and modified and then I cleaned up and shot some finish on an old rocking horse a friend had. It was one his kids used and now he is giving it to one of his grandkids for his first birthday, on Saturday. And lastly I had a call about cutting another plaque for the Chamber of Commerce, a new business opening later this month. I'll finish that one in the morning.

I'm really tired, headed to bed.
