CLEAR, CALM, AND COOL IN THE NATIONS, A LITTLE WARMER THAN YESTERDAY. THE CHEROKEES ARE BASKING IN THE FALL WEATHER.

THINKING ABOUT DRIVING UP TO THE RIFLE RANGE TODAY TO TEST SOME .222 MAG LOADS, OR MAYBE TO OKMULGEE TO SEE #1 DAUGHTER, OR MAYBE BOTH :-)

Howdy! I'm plotting my next escape to the course, maybe tomorrow. Gotta take advantage of this weather while it lasts.

Have a good day, all!

Good Morning CGs!

Bought an item on ebay yesterday...didn't do my due diligence and check the seller feedback. It's a fraudulent item and seller isn't shipping. Called ebay and spoke to three different reps...all in India. Resolution? Nothing. I have to wait until the item doesn't arrive and then file a claim. Unreal. It's obviously a bad seller. They don't care. Stupid.

I needed to get rid of our old patio set. This morning I posted it on a few facebook buy/sell groups and I had people messaging me literally within 2 minutes. I posted it for $20 just to get it out of my yard. It's 12 years old although we stored it inside the shed for winter so it's still nice. I was going to throw it out. Guess we are $20 richer...lol. Lady should be here in an hour. Gotta love the magic of the internet.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

I've been so busy I can't believe I'm still capable of performing at this level. Usually the benefit of such an intensive work schedule is it makes my regular routine seem easy. Lots of tasks have been accomplished at home and the nursery. Catching up to the point where a normal schedule is in sight. Distant sight, but in sight. First of the year target is on schedule if not a little ahead of schedule. Fortunately for us there are two one week breaks ahead.

Went to the dermatologist this A.M. after dropping the Yorkies off at the groomers. Had a bunch of pre-cancerous growths frozen off so now I'm good for another three months. The missing screens on the patio were installed yesterday so now I can keep the squirrels and roof rats out. There was a family of rats living under my Jacuzzi. Got the mama and three teenagers in the rat traps so far. I'll set the traps over the next few days till there is no more pitter patter of little feet under the cover of darkness. The squirrel is no problem. I just chased him off with a net. He's out. The piles of debris remain all over the place. We'll be lucky to see them all gone by Christmas. Still, there are signs of improvement. It's pretty much business as usual.

Rats! EWWW! I was about to go out onto the patio a day or two after surgery to sit and there as a fat nasty rat out there under my chair. Geez! There's fields all around our house so there's gonna be some come around, can't help it. But did he have to be right there right then??
got one out of the dryer vent not long ago. Clothes stank like high hell and took us a couple of days to figure out why.

Been there, done that. Sent the kid to school. The kids told him the clothes smelled like something died. They were right.

Hey guys....i got an early start on the kitchen remodel this morning in hopes of getting finished...well at 6pm I did in fact finish everything I have to do. Crown molding had me up and down a ladder more times than I want to think about. Lady told me they could fill holes and touch up the paint. It does look good, if I do say so myself. As soon as they get the tiled backsplash finished I'll go over and get pictures.

The weather actually got hot this afternoon, 90 after a 39 start this morning. It's supposed to be cooler tomorrow, back in the upper 70s.
