Howdy! Gonna be 75 and sunny - I will have to go out and sample some of that later. Meanwhile, the grindstone is spinning.

Enjoy your day, Gurus!

Morning guys....I'm up but it was tough this morning. I really didn't want that alarm to go off. Got, kind of, a scratchy throat this morning. Finished up the kitchen job yesterday...at least all of MY work. Another guy has to come in and do the ceramic tile backsplash. Today I install the cabinets I built, while waiting on the kitchen trim to come in, at the sheriffs office. Then a shelf for one of my 'little ole ladies' that seem to have an endless series of work for me.

It's cool this morning, 39, but headed to upper 70s. I can take this.

I trust you, all, will have a great day.

In 1965 Vietnam seemed like just another foreign war but it wasn't
It was different in many ways, as so were tose that did the fighting
In World War II the average age of the combat soldier was 26
In Vietnam he was 19
In-in-in Vietnam he was 19

The shooting and fighting of the past two weeks continued today
25 miles west of Saigon
I really wasn't sure what was going on

Ni-ni-ni 19, 19, ni-19 19

In Vietnam the combat soldier typically served
A twelve month tour of duty
But was exposed to hostile fire almost everyday
Ni-ni-ni 19, Ni-ni-ni 19

Good evening all, hope everyone had a good day. Was beautiful here. body shop friend is headed to MO tomorrow to seal the deal on a rent house up there in the hills and won't be back until Sunday so I'm off tomorrow. I plan to sleep and just relax out back in the lounger. Phone will be on mute. I'll look at it when I want to. I have a side job I'm at the end of so I'll check in on that and see if it's ready to up load but other than that, I'm chilling. Not near as bad as Tee with his 39 degree temps, however. Good news at the physical therapist, today was my 4th visit and I got to ride a stationary bike, do some new exercises and was told starting tomorrow I can begin walking with a walker and using pressure on my operative hip and leg "as tolerated". By Monday/Tuesday I can walk unassisted or with use of a cane or whatever I feel comfortable with and to use caution. I have another visit Monday at 8am. I was taught the proper way to use a walker and a cane. I can't freakin wait. Still not allowed to drive till 30th, when my return visit with the surgeon is, tho. For long distances, I'm still to probably use the chair or crutches, etc. and no carrying of heavy things, still no bending more than 90-degrees for a month. Some activities will require permanent adjustments such as the mountainclimbers we do in the gym, and other things that require your knees being up to your ears.
