New stuff has broken that requires attention today. A switch to or the garbage disposal itself is not working. See how lucky I get. A hydraulic hose on the skid steer has a cut in it. I don't even feel like looking at it but I must. Then the host of items already on the list. There will be no sitting around watching Saturday morning nature programs on the telly for me. I've taken notice that my hands aren't really working to full potential. Stiffness, reduced range of motion and working on tiny stuff has become difficult. It's not really new, just getting worse. I've been avoiding a trip to the hand specialist. No doubt both hands would require a surgical fix. Something I don't wish to undertake at this time, or anytime for that matter. Then I would be forced into watching nature programming. Oh ya, life goes on ......

CLOUDY AND WINDY IN THE NATIONS THIS MORNING, THUNDER-BUMPERS PREDICTED FOR TONIGHT. THE CHEROKEES WILL ENDEAVOR TO PERSEVERE.

TOMMY, I HAVE THE SAME HAND PROBLEMS YOU WRITE OF, OSTEOARTHRITIS, I GUESS. THE JOYS OF GETTING OLD. WITH THIS FRONT MOVING IN I FEEL LIKE I'VE BEEN ROLLED DOWN HILL IN A BARREL FULL OF ROCKS.

NOTHING ON THE AGENDA TODAY, THE BIG DECISION IS IHOP VS BOOMERANG FOR BREAKFAST :-)

Morning guyus....still not much of a voice today. This is getting really old. It was windy yesterday, never stopped all through the night, still breezy today. The home football team really put it to the visitors last night. Took the opening kickoff to the endzone and never looked back. 64-8. One more home game on Thursday, it shouldn't be much different than last night. Then we should have a post season playoff game the week after, but it will, more than likely, be away.

I have the same issues with my hands. I figure the bast way to fight it is to keep them busy.

Going to lay low again today.

LETTY, YOU'VE GOT A GOOD SENATOR, EVEN IF HE IS A LAWYER ;-)

Last year, for the first time in our nation’s history, the American people elected as president someone with no high government experience—not a senator, not a congressman, not a governor, not a cabinet secretary, not a general. They did this, I believe, because they’ve lost faith in both the competence and the intentions of our governing class—of both parties! Government now takes nearly half of every dollar we earn and bosses us around in every aspect of life, yet can’t deliver basic services well. Our working class—the “forgotten man,” to use the phrase favored by Ronald Reagan and FDR—has seen its wages stagnate, while the four richest counties in America are inside the Washington Beltway. The kids of the working class are those who chiefly fight our seemingly endless wars and police our streets, only to come in for criticism too often from the very elite who sleep under the blanket of security they provide. .

I don't think anybody here has an issue with idle hands.

Howdy! I slept good and late - it started raining at a pretty good clip around 3AM, so there was no rush to get up and do nothing. Glad I played golf yesterday - looks like that may not be happening again anytime soon. It appears that I have plenty of soggy leaves to pick up at some point in the future.

Have a good day, all!

Marcus, can you tell us tomorrow's stock prices today? That would be handy ;-)

I wish the fall colors would last longer, they are spectacular. Seems like they only last about 15 minutes, then *poof* they're gone.

A friend sent me this blast from the past - a neat story about Groucho Marx and one of his You Bet Your Life episodes. Classic.

Marcus, when I retired from the USPS we let go the maid and the car detailer. The savings in gas, lunch and and those costs made it almost like me getting a full paycheck. Unfortunately I became the maid, the cook, the car guy, landscaper, handyman, pet sitter, and any other household job you can think of guy. You DO pay high taxes. You must make a lot of money. Sue's grandfather used to tell me when I bitched about paying taxes "That means your making money." He's telling the truth.

Gris, there's some here that would beg to differ with you on Cotton. You either hate his last ever living gut or you love him to pieces. Kinda like Trump and Hillary. Seems those who aren't from here are the ones who like him the most though.
Beautiful here, 80 and sunny. Unfortunately, the pool water is about 66. I think all my humming birds are gone. Thought I saw one earlier but just one time, and still not sure what I saw.
Have been up walking around today. Started with the walker yesterday and by evening was just kinda pushing it around in front of me. Today I got up having it there just in case and found myself carrying it around. So just left it to set and grabbed Mamma's old cane. Tackled Wally World for some things and came home, Have been making it around without it . Just go slow and watch what I'm doing.
Hopey'all have a good weekend.

OURS HAVE BEEN GONE FOR A WHILE. DID YOU KNOW THE MALES MIGRATE FIRST AND THE FEMALES LATER? I NOTICED THAT THIS YEAR AND LOOKED IT UP. BOTH WAYS; INTERESTING.

Good Evening CGs!

Took the kids to "boo at the zoo" this morning where they get to dress up for Halloween and walk around. They enjoyed themselves.

Got a new keg hooked up in the kegerator. Got a new regulator to go with it so I hope that solves the foaming problem. I'll find out later.

Hope everyone had a great day!
