Cold here as well, but not too bad. Me and the Missuz are coming to the conclusion that we need a much newer car. We can't agree on what to get. We're not in a hurry at all, we'll probably wait until between Christmas and New Year's Eve.
I just hope for the best.............she's got a sneaky left jab.

....a newer Corvette car CBee......? or a regular car?

I had mine out yesterday.....went into church.....was in the upper 30's coming home......QwkSlvr was feeling real spunky with the cold air.......of course I am not supposed to be driving on those summer tires when its that cold but I took the tight on ramp at .6 g's and never even thought about it until I was headed out on The 80...... Then never have come up with and All Season run flat tire for my car....... anyway the seat warmers were on simmer and I was enjoying the ride a lot......

Husker managed to pull off a win by one point at Purdue last night......yikes!

And my Dodgers had a great 9th inning rally to win and even up the series...... so I feel good about my teams right now.......

More chain saw work today as I wield my Stihl against the fallen timber....gonna get cold this winter and we need wood......

Have a day of naps and reflection Guru's......

Good evening CGs!

I had a day packed full of work from the early morning up until now.

First up was blowing out the sprinklers. That took about an hour. While I was doing that I was charging the battery in the wife's car which was dead overnight. Load tested it and it was bad. Figures. Good enough to start, but not trustworthy. It was dated 1/13, so that's 5 years of use. I ordered a new one from Advance and with coupons and reward bucks it cost me around $95 otd. No complaints there. I drove it to the parts store later in the day and changed it in the lot so that was one less trip.

About two weeks ago the wife drove on a freshly paved asphalt road. It literally covered the lower portion of the body 2" up with black tar/oil. What a PIA to get off. Lots of mineral spirits, rags and elbow grease. Got that sufficiently cleaned up. Took about 2 hours. Ran that over to the car wash for a little extra cleaning. It's presentable now, but the paint feels like crap. It needs a clay bar and a buff.

Got home from errands and cut the grass.

FIL brought his computer over and I had to fix a few things on there before dinner.

After dinner it was out to the garage to fix his Nissan Altima motor mount that I've been waiting on him for. It was supposed to be a 30 minute job...yeah, right. The nut on the bottom of the mount was seized on there and rounded out. Not much I could do. I eventually got it off, but total time was closer to an hour and a half. Road test was great, vibration is gone. The mount I took off was toast. Glad it's done.

Time to relax a bit.

Hope everyone had a great day!

I'm wish it's for a newer 'Vette", but as life would dictate, a newer daily road warrior is what's in the cards for us.
Boy, you hadda put that out there. Now I'm gonna be fixated on newer 'Vettes. I can feel the fiberglass itch coming on already.......
