DARLING WIFE WANTS TO GO OUT FOR BREAKFAST TO SOME NEW PLACE OWNED BY HER CHIROPRACTORS. WE SHALL SEE WHAT WE SHALL SEE.
MADE IT TO OKMULGEE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON, GOT AN UPDATE ON THE GRANDKIDS. #3 GRANDDAUGHTER HAD TO GET GLASSES. #1 GD HAS A SERIOUS BOYFRIEND, COUNTRY KID FROM WEST TEXAS WITH MASTERS IN AG FROM TEXAS TECH, GRANDPA APPROVES. SHE IS KNOCKING HERSELF OUT IN MED SCHOOL, DRIVING BACK AND FOURTH TO TULSA, WHICH IS A BAD IDEA.

THE CURRENT BUDGET PROBLEM IN OK REMINDS ME OF SOWELL'S DICTA:

Least of all do voters (AND BUREAUCRATS) want to hear about the most fundamental reality of economics — that what everybody wants has always added up to more than there is.

Thomas Sowell

THE SOLUTION, OF COURSE, IS ALWAYS MORE TAXES.

Morning guys...I was AWOL yesterday, no excuse really, just sat and watched my car shows, then ran over to the 'city' for the materials I needed to fix the problem at the hospital. And when we got back I started plugging away at that. Then the neighbors down the street invited us down for some pumpkin pie and visiting. When we got home I got busy doing some research and then it was time for bed.

Much cooler today they say, only in the mid to upper 40s. 37 now and cloudy, same for tomorrow.

Well, Brad and Tommy are both off on vaca this week, liable to be quiet around here. have a great day folks.

Good Evening CGs!

Most important task of the day was done....got the CO2 refilled for the kegerator Once I hooked it up I found a problem with the new-to-me regulator....it was leaking out of the housing threads. I disassembled it and found a piece of Teflon tape was stuck between the diaphragm and plastic spacer and the tape didn't correctly cover the housing threads. Quick rewrap and I was in business.

Went to mom's today and did a few hours of work on the house. My reward was lunch from the local Mexican restaurant. It was good.

Relaxing now and enjoying a beer.

Hope everyone had a great day!
